REALODUA: you talk trash and am sure you are older than me. Why don't you for once travel to these eastern states, be industrious enough and have a good number of you there first before you talk of being a commissioner in Abia. Stop recycling these same lines, its getting stale. 2 Likes |

Foolish Ndigbo! When would ever learn your lessons. You've become objects of hatred and molestation because you've so chosen. If only you learn to develop your own homeland like the real Jews you claim to have originated do, you would not be going through this nonsense. Imagine the insults right before so called igbo ezes. You always claim to be wiser, but you're indeed the most foolish tribe I've ever seen on earth. People everywhere treat you as they like because you expose your weakness. How can you be developing other parts of nigeria to the detriment of your homeland? Shame shame shame on you stupid people. Am so ashamed to be part of you. Name any big industry, supermarkets, etc in lagos and north, it's most likely owned by an igbo man, yet the south east is begging for investment. Shame On YOU. Foolish idiots. 2 Likes |

Since the end of the civil war, Igbos don't kill Yorubas, Yorubas don't kill Igbos. Only Fulani/Hausa/kanuri kill both Igbo and Yoruba since the war ended. This Oba's threat is serious. |

Ive seen the video and quite agree with Oba Akiolu. He spelt it out loud and clear that whatever you cannot do in onitsha or aba should not be done in Lagos. I believe Lagos in the past has been fair enough to have commissioners of lagos state from igbo origin while other tribes in Nigeria living in Lagos just like the Igbos cannot boast of having anything close to what the igbos have politically. Listenning to one of the interviews of the great sadauna of sokoto in the sixties, he mentioned that the igbos are always trying to outshine their hosts. How will you come and live with me in my house and you will want to be deciding for me the kind of rule i have in my own household. As long as we cannot do that to you in the east, do not try it here. If east good, why you no stay for yonder. Same hypocrites who shouts oil belongs to ss will come to lagos and shout lagos is no man land. smh Does any igbo state in nigeria has yoruba commissioners like lagos allow. Does the igbos disobey their igwe when he speaks just like akiolu has spoken Do igbos have similar attitude of hosting/ selling lands to stranger in their gully erosion land in the east like yorubaland did and will always do to other tribes. For your information the Hausas and Yorubas has some things in common like obeying our Kings just as they are tradionally regarded as gods sent -note the small g- i mean deities of the land sent. We do not wake up in the morning and kixk our fathers in the butt like you do in your state. WE respect our fathers / Kings cos they speak for the gods. After your goatluck Jonathan has lost, i believe you should learn and follow the part to save your region but you still want to shoot yourself in the legs. Finally, you need to understand that the only way an igbo man can get to the topmost part politically in Nigeria is to allign with at least 3 other regions to make headway, else you are a gonner. You have only 5 states while every other region has at least six. So, how on earth do you believe 5 can win almost 40. You are politically backword and never ready to learn. SOON, YOU WILL START SHOUTING MARGINALIZATION WHERE THERE IS NONE. Finally, note that from topmost 1- 20 in goatlord Jonathan administration you can hardly find any yoruba, yet we complained not. Just wait and you will start smelling your shame in the political ladscape of the country. qoute me and jump jump into the lagoon. Hail the King. Remember to put the logos of gully erosion in you biafran flag when you are ready. here are some in case you do not have money to take snapshot 1 Like 1 Share

Chinom: Fear dey catch Igbos cause you have no home to run to. The Oba said when you come from your hamlets and villages.........to those mumu ezes. The Oba of Lagos will just simply withdraw their crowns. We still own our land and if necessary you will die in the Lagoon. This is our land, deal with it. 1 Like 1 Share |

what is going on in this country? the first writer posted that the oba did d right thing, so here i am in my thoughts thinking , is it humanly possible for a sane person to see this as a good thing. for God sake what is the business of the igbo race . ambode n jimi they re both yoruba so how does it affect the igbo people are they trying to claim ur throne?. this shows that this oba does not even mean well for the lagosians he's just after his pocket. 3 Likes |

Well let me put forward my opinion to the news making the rounds... OBA Akiolu vs Igbos Resident in Lagos First things first, constitutionally igbos are free to live and thrive anywhere/everywhere in Nigeria as long as the country exist but............ It would be stupid of any individual or group of individuals as the case may be to challenge the true owners of the land (Even Abuja has owners) and here goes my grievances with my Igbo pals... Every Igbo residing in Lagos is free to vote whoever he/she so chooses but the idea of forming block votes as a machinery to fight against the government of the state for perceived injustices is wrong as far as I am concerned...This idea is supported by the now all too popular saying that seems to portray Lagos as a no mans land which is definitely not true... Lagos belongs to the Yorubas and there's nothing anybody can do about it but respect the wishes of the owners of the land... The civil war ended some decades ago but it's obvious the Igbos as an ethnic group are still caught up in the past, please it'd do y'all a world of good to move on and stop fighting imaginary enemies... It'd be unthinkable for Akwa Ibomites to even think of forming block votes in Cross River to go against the wishes and aspirations of Cross Riverians and vice versa...It's that bad and unpleasant..... 1 Like 1 Share |

I am Ibo, yes I dislike tribalism and I strongly believe that any nation which truly wants to forge ahead must limit the impact of tribal sentiments in the selection of its leaders. I have lived in Lagos for 12 years and have more Yoruba friends than I do Ibo friends. The best experiences I have had in Lagos have been with good people regardless of tribe but I have in my own observation seen that many of my Yoruba friends come from well educated homes. In some cases, they have grand parents who schooled in prestigious institutions; a not so common achievement in Nigeria. I have been welcome into their homes which in some cases have a Muslim father and a Christian mother. The diversity I have experienced in Lagos makes me desire to reside in no other part of Nigeria apart from Lagos. I must confess that I had in line with my admiration expected too much of the Oba. Quite frankly I never believed the Oba of one of the most important cities in Africa could sound so medieval. Asking him to apologize would be an insult to common sense. Over the course of the recent election related developments, I had argued and disagreed with relatives about voting for Jonathan. Although I am from Delta state which partly like Bayelsa state was carved out of the former Bendel state, I put sentiments aside and reasoned like most progressive Nigerians, related with the average man on the street and saw nothing but reckless graft in the current PDP. I put aside the relationships and ignored relatives who benefit from NDDC to the detriment of the average Nigerian and campaigned for APC. I did all these with a careful eye on the role of Tinubu in Lagos, his possible influence on APC and nursed a certain uneasiness about his relationship to Ambode. When I listened to the campaign adverts of JK and compared it to that of Ambode; perused their CVs and evaluated what I felt either could offer, I personally made up my mind to support Ambode. I also did this in consideration of the alienation strategy the federal level metes out on an opposition state level government and adjudged that Lagos is due for a alliance with the federal level of governance from day one. I had worked in GTB and knew Agbaje but threw sentiments away to evaluate Ambode as a more profitable offer. Now I have a new dilema. With the overwhelming influence of Tinubu on Lagos, evident from the Alpha beta saga, Lekki-toll saga, Oriental hotel saga, ibeju Lekki saga, Royal Gardens estate saga, issuance of CofOs long after publicly abdicating power, I had felt that was all there would be to Ambode but from the way the Oba spoke, I now believe Ambode could represent an entrenched institutional rot and that regardless what reconciliatory steps are taking to assuage the concerns of Lagosians over such wanton bias, there might be need to save our beloved Lagos from death in the Lagoon. It's just a vote but I have just made up my mind. Afterall, Agbaje or Ambode there can be no tribalism for an Ibo vote! 8 Likes |

Holy shiit!! These Igbos have to be the most unprincipled and incorrigible cowardly souls ever known to mankind. I can't believe these plonkers sat there, clapped for him, and never made any fuss about the statement in his presence. Yet they have been blowing hot air all over cyberspace. The King just earned my respect as one of the most powerful Yoruba Kings with fireballs like Alaafin Shango the Kintaro. Anyway, I'm still waiting for ULTIMATUMS from Igbos!! I shall be back to read the ultimatum when they issue one. Yorubas aren't cowards after-all - Interesting. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I even went some where and two Yoruba men were seriously debating who is better between agbaje and ambode ..ambodes saving grace would be the Igbo votes but now that your oba has spoilt everything, we should be ready for the drowning exercise come Saturday. 1 Like |
