We know Tecno is an Afro-centric brand exclusively producing devices made for the African market. The device vendor is present in over six African countries including Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Cameroon, among others.

Tecno's great brand coupled with affordable high-end devices with features and specs that compete with the global brands make it a favorite for some African phone users. All Tecno smartphone run on Android OS, and come with unique features relevant to Africa such as flash light, dust resistant covers, long battery life and 2/3G connectivity. Most Tecno phones however, haven't yet included 4G LTE which is the next mobile network Technology. Tecno's strong supply chain and customer care support through carlcare centers coupled with all-year warranty build more customer loyality.

Tecno this year has announced the Tecno Boom J7 http://www.dignited.com/13018/tecno-announces-the-tecno-boom-j7-a-hip-smartphone-for-music-lovers/ a smartphone designed for multimedia and music lovers. However, it's yet to hit the stores.

Now these are the best Tecno phones in first quarter of 2015 according to the site Dignited.com

Tecno Phantom Z
We know the Phantom Z is Tecno's flagship device currently. Tecno really did outdo themselves with the Z which sports a 2.0Ghz Octa-core beast with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It has 5.2 inch super AMOLED full HD display with a 16MP back and 8MP front cameras both with flashes. To power up this beast is a 3030 mAh battery.

Tecno Phantom Z mini
Following the success of the Phantom Z, Tecno decided to release a slightly stripped-down version of the Z. But don't be deceived by the "mini-ness" in the name of this phone. The mini packs a 1.4Ghz Octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It has a 5 inch HD super AMOLED display powered by a 2420 mAh battery. The Z mini has an 8MP front and 13MP back camera both with flashes.

Tecno R7
Just before Tecno released the Phantom, it had the R7. The R7 was sort of making way for the Phantom Z really if you consider its specs. The phones has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and a 1.5 Ghz Hexacore processor. It has a gigantic 5.5 inch HD screen powered by a 2430 mAh battery. It also has a 13MP primary and 5MP. As you can see the phone is only 2 cores less than the Z.

Tecno L7
The L7 is equally a high-end smartphone from Tecno, bust not as beastly as the above devices. The L7 features a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM non expandable. The L7 also has a 5 inch TFT HD display powered by a 3050 mAh battery. The L7 has a 13MP AF rear camera and a 5MP AF front camera. It also runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

Tecno H7
Finally the H7 is the little brother in this league of smartphones. It comes with a 1.3Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. The H7 comes with a 5 inch TFT display with a 540*960 resolution powered by a 2020 mAH battery. The h7 comes with an 8MP rear and a 2MP front camera both with BSI technology. The design and feel were also lovely.

A worthwhile mention is the Tecno H6 which is currently selling like hot cake. It's a mid-range device that falls below the above top five but with equally impressive specs and features for budget-sensitive users. You can read about its comprehensive review here http://www.dignited.com/11083/tecno-h6-review-lowest-price-weve-seen-power-packed-mid-range-smartphone/
