THEY STOLE HIS JOB, AND GAVE HIM BULLETS. Below this post are the bullet ridden body of Comrade Ugonna Omeronye and another picture of this murdered handsome and vibrant youth. Ugoo was killed few hours to the commencement of last Saturday's gubernatorial and State House of Assembly Election. Ugoo was until his death the chief campaigner for the restoration of the 10,000 jobs scheme; a job scheme that was initiated by the Ikedi Ohakim government, in which over ten thousand Imo young graduates were offered jobs into the Imo State Civil service, about five thousand of them were injected into the Imo State school system to reinvigorate our educational system and guarantee qualitative education for our children, while providing a secured and well paying jobs for our teeming graduates. The Imo 10,000 job scheme is a signature project of ex-Governor Ikedi Ohakim, and is acclaimed across the Federation as the most transparent recruitment exercise embarked upon by any State Government. It is curious that the incumbent Governor who cruised to electoral victory in 2011 on huge promises of providing good education for our children and 'rescuing' our State sacked these 10,000 jobs beneficiaries without any genuine reason. Okorocha's only reason on the 6th of June when he made that tragic broadcast was that, the State cannot afford to absorb such number of staff into its work force. However, the same Governor Okorocha has gone ahead to boast about 'ENGAGING' 25,000 youths in his crappy 'Youth Must Work' comedy. Late Comrade Ugonna Omeronye who hailed from Akatta in Oru East LGA of the State was a virulent critic of the Okorocha government. Having succeeded in extracting a commitment from the PDP that its government will recall the beneficiaries of the 10,000 jobs scheme, Ugoo was at the forefront of campaigns for the election of a PDP government in the State. Few hours before he was mauled down by the assassin's bullets, Ugoo sent out bulk text messages to all the 10,000 jobs beneficiaries, reminding them that a vote for the PDP is a vote for the recovery of their jobs and a guarantee of a safer future for them and their family members. With allegations of desperate rigging and manipulations trailing the inconclusive governorship election in the State, will it not be safe to point our fingers to certain directions in our investigation of this murder. The same Oru East, where Ugoo hailed from is the same LGA where "the INEC- Electoral Officer, Mrs. Emmanuela Okpara confessed that she was kidnapped and taken to a secret location by the agents of the APC candidate, where she was forced at gunpoint to enter fictitious figures." Ugoo's spirit shall not rest, until those connected in anyway to his gruesome murder have been found and brought to book. IMO GA ADI MMA OZO |

And how does this relate to the bullet ridden body of "who cares?" If the judicial system were to go by your logic of "pointing fingers when it is convenient or based on opinions and perceptions"...you, the op, would be in prison too. You could be the assassin for all we know, all they'll have to do is establish a motive against you like you did to another. Not anybody with a perceived motive to kill is a murderer. 1 Like |
