Ceremonies are being staged around the world
to mark one year since more than 200 girls
were abducted by Nigerian militant Islamist
group Boko Haram.
A procession is being held in Nigeria's capital,
Abuja, with 219 girls taking part to represent
each missing girl.
The abduction of the girls in Chibok in north-
eastern Nigeria sparked global outrage, with
nations such as the US and China promising to
help find them.
There have been sightings of the girls reported,
but none have been found.
The girls at the Abuja demonstration sang and
waved placards as they marched. They wore
red T-shirts with the words "#365DaysOn" and
"#NeverToBeForgotten".
Events marking the anniversary are also
expected in Lagos, as well as France, the UK
and US.
Boko Haram say the girls have converted to
Islam and been married off. One witness told
the BBC that she saw more than 50 of them
alive three weeks ago in the north-eastern town
of Gwoza.

He doesn't want to rise our hopes and fail,but at least he said his government will do everything within its power to bring them home.

If the administration under whose watch they were kidnapped couldn't bring them back,then let's not expect magic from the coming administration.
