the point still remains, Harley Quinn is more popular than Batgirl but her movie flopped partly because of less fan clamour, right now there are other characters that need attention in the DCEU, there's is little clamour for a batgirl movie right now, maybe in the future but currently people are more interested in MoS2, Green lantern, the flash, JL2, etc. Too many Bats in the DCEU already.

PS Batgirl's origin story will inevitably lead to batman and his villains so what's the point? This movie and the GCPD are totally unnecessary now.

This one that y'all are screaming we don't want this and that; if you're not shown some movie how will you know you had a need for them. For example, no one wanted a Joker origin story talkless of an elseworld story with no Batman or action. But what was the result. I can remember very vividly how divisive Joker was before production even started, fans abused and attacked themselves, no one could agree with each other. But what was the final result, a resounding Critical and financial success.

Who needed Aquaman? Aquaman was only even desired after Cyborg, Green Lantern and Flash must have had their solos. Who wanted Shazam? Now fans are shouting Aquaman 2, Shazam 2 and Black Adam. At times some characters serve the purpose of making others shine or introducing others, some characters you think you're not much invested in or needed. What matters more is the execution or delivery.

What I even think is that some movies performance are reliant on a Director's vision or fans trust. You could see that in James Wan, Matt Reeves and David Sandberg. Cathy Yan didn't have that, also not adapting true to comics hurt the movie.
If we go by such Logic of what fans wanted Hollywood was not sure if it needed another female led comic book movie. Not after the bombings of Elektra, Catwoman, Supergirl and the likes. Wonder Woman was a calculated risk.

What I feel is that we should all learn is the concept of diversity and accept that not everyone likes or feels the same way as me. One man meat na another man poison. Respecting everyone's taste, differences or opinion is the key.

I've tried my best and took my time to break this down and not sound combative or force my opinion on you. I don tire, na my final Comment on this issue be this.

It's simple, if there are 3 aquamans in the DCEU plus an aquawoman TV series, who will clamour for an aquagirl? Too many aquapeople!! This is my first point!!

Secondly as I have repeatedly pointed out, BOP failed mostly because of little to no clamour for a Harley Quinn movie despite the character being popular. Not because Harley Quinn is a constant in the DCEU and people are tired of seeing her nor are there multiple Harley Quinns on TV.

Who needed Aquaman, Shazam and black adam? Are you serious with this statement? You might as well ask me who needed the Flash or Wonderwoman?

If a batgirl movie is in your bucket list then own it but don't say that people are clamouring for a batgirl movie.

Magically let people see the 1st 2 episodes to create excitement. N0w, jl is already hyped, why leak it?
