Gmajor: Minemrys: Batman and Superman characters were originally getting rebooted but WB changed its mind on Henry as it will be difficult to get a character that can play Superman and age was still on his side. For Ben affleck, he got rebooted mainly because of his alcohol issues and mostly because age was not on his side. Ben is already 46years going to 47yrs. That means in 10years time, we will be having almost a 60yr old guy playing as a young Batman. Does that make sense to you? Does it look proper? The answer is no. So best is to recast him and bring in someone who is young and still got years on his side. Its a good thing the dceu hasn't gone far, so a reboot was easy and he will definitely fit into the story. Same reboot is happening in suicide squad. WB has stated that the next SS movie is not SS2 but simply suicide squad. |
