They said GEJ could not fight corruption but the first step he took which was fuel subsidy removal that would've stopped corruption in oil and gas sector and save Nigeria billions of Naira, Nigerians took to the street and were shouting; stone him! Impeach him! Kill him!. That was where his problem started. Very soon, Nigerians will realise GEJ is the only Nigerian President that puts the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians first before averyother thing. 27 Likes 5 Shares |

This is a better advice from IMF. I urge Buhari to listen to it. It will be very easy to implement since he has decided to reduces fuel price, he may juxtapose it with the removal of the remaining subsidey TheGoodJoe: |

Last I checked every advanced country subsidizes one thing or the other for its citizens. In America, it's on agriculture. In UK, Australia health. Nigeria -? Let IMF fill the space with question mark. 1 Like |

The issue of fuel subsidy is more political than economic. Only a serious government can address this matter realistically. We have seen that in nigeria it has been used more as a tool for rewarding polititical patronage rather than serving the interests of the people. The more the subsidy , the more the suffering of the masses. Whilst the masses are crying, the govenrment patrons are smiling to the bank with cheap money. |

Well, Buhari will remove the subsidy, the pump prices will increase, but the same almajiris in the North that were busy rioting when GEJ did the same, and their "southern" partners that were busy dancing fela songs in stadia and parks in the name of protests will praise Buhari for doing that, and will now preach to us why subsidy removal is the best for the country. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Okay so you guys are going to find out very soon that you have replaced one puppet (Gej) with another US/EU approved puppet (Buhari) because as you can see the IMF is still dictating your economic policies and it has been proven in the past that the IMF is the western imperialists greatest weapon against Nigeria and Africa as a whole. All this talk about subsidy removal is a pile of sh.it , there is no subsidy, what you have are conditions that were attached to loans that Nigeria borrowed from western financial institutions, these conditions are very harsh and draconian and require the Nigerian govt to completey reduce any form of public spending on things like health care, infrastructure development, education and other areas of funding that benefit the masses. This should indicate to you that the western imperialists are your greatest enemy. Someone said that Buhari will not stand for this as he opposed the IMF 30 years ago and my response to that is - why do you think he was overthrown and why did it take him another 30 years to get back into office. By the way have you taken a look at the kind of thieves Buhari has in his inner circle? How the hell is he going to go against the IMF when majority of his backers are stooges and front men for the same IMF? I would really like to see how he's going to do this. Don't be surprised when you start hearing funny stories about his health deteriorating if he falls out with those inner circle thiefs. Anyway my fellow Nigerians this is your punishment for failing to educate yourselves about world history in order to know when someone is selling you a lie , Buhari and GEJ are both puppets of western imperialists who are STILL calling the shots in your country, do you have the stomach to upset the status quo? 1 Like |

Pls who owns Nigeria's oil wells? Govt or private investors? Does the government pay subsidy to itself or investors in the oil sector? What is really happening? Why would the govt only be interested in oil and not other sectors like agriculture? If the govt is handing over the power sector to private people, what are its plans regarding oil? Why do we have the NNPC and not a government backed agric commodity hub? Why aren't we taxing every taxable individual? Why should a landlord take N1.5m as rent per annum in the FCT and not pay a dime as tax? Why are the mai shai, the mai suya's and the likes not being taxed? Finally, how did GEJ get the alleged N2 trillion he spent on his re-election campaign? We better start making these things public if we wish to move forward. 1 Like |
