Niger state governor, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu, yesterday said the defection of the seven PDP governors to the APC strengthened the opposition party and in turn increased the chances of Buhari's victory. The governor said this while commissioning some TETFund projects at the College of Education Minna. Aliyu urged the PDP not to pray for failure of the APC-led government as the effect of such will be felt by all and sundry.

The governor warned against turning Nigeria to a one party state. He further blamed the failure of the PDP on the merger and failure of President of Goodluck Jonathan to honour the agreement of one term he signed.

If GEJ truly made an agreement of one term, and didn't honour it; he is not a man of honour. His second tenure would have spelt doom for Nigeria.

The little confidence being built between North and South by the election of OBJ after the infamous nullified of MKO victory in '93 election by IBB would have been ruined.

However, will power shift to the South after GMB? Will he be the last president of united Nigeria? Time will tell.
