I think this stealing in camp is overhyped for thw following reasons
1) where will the person dt steal my belonging use it....is it not in the same camp/platoon? Or will he steal my bucket/slipas and take it home

u probably havnt stayed in hostel b4....dey will steal ur cloth and sell it...let alone phones, money or valuables and wnt get caught

I stayed in hostel and its diff. In hostel ur movement is nt restricted and no soldiers in hostels like camp
U can't leave camp at will like the way u do in hostel

yes you can book and go the same day.. Most of the transport company that will carry people to their various camps like to move from 6am, and if you go to school that same monday, you will not click with them on that same day.

On documents lik dat,itz advisable 2 make enuf photocopies,lik 10copies each,n try 2 Alwayz ve @least a copy of each wit u in ur pouch,i just folded it neatly in ma pouch,nt because of thieves alone bt 4 registration purpose,walkin to n fro 4rm d hostel s nt Alwayz easy,n u can't Alwayz ve ur doc file wit u.plz, once yoa given ur attires,keep ddem well,4rm ur khaki,crested vest,tennis,jungle boot n head dress,plz keep dem well.weneva I wanna spread ma khaki,i sit down wit it til it Getz dry #funny dey steal ooo,phones,power bankz,even ur bucket,anytin s stealable# dere.

My litu advise 2 y'all goin 2 obubra,plz b of gud behavior,dis wld aid ur posting.try 2 b relevant in ur platoon,watch ur language,u might actually tink u ar too many 4 any official 2 notice u, datz a lie. Let mi share ma experience,i bcame so close 2 ma officers platoon officers n wen it wz time for assessment, I wz 1 of 4corpers called 2 assist,al corpers dat bhaved well (dey knw tru ur passport) were al assessed well,while d ones wit big mouths n bad manners were poorly assessed.dere wz dis particular guy dat s Alwayz criticizing everytin,4rm food 2 registration process,n everytin observed dere.my dear,dey intentionally posted him 2 a very thick forest very close 2 benue,wen he came bak 2 complain on d last day in camp,d platoon officer told him 2 go n continue criticizing dere.n dere s a list called concessional list (itz given 2 official 2 award few corpers dere desires posting place).....cos of ma gud bhaviou,i wz given lik 5slots,ma platoon officer,platoon commander (d soldiers) ,health director (I greet her almost every morning), d resident officer (that 1 asked mi out jawe #rubbish) n platoon man'o'war bt al dis wz put 2 waste cos I wz goin 2 b redeployed bt stil ma platoon officer made sum cal 2 OYO nysc n I wz posted 2 d gov's office (ma present PPA). If u want 2 get a ghud ppa jst partake in d social activities in camp..e.g dancing,drama and football...u would get a ghud posting...Football Cds President.Cross River reporting....

I wish u al d best.4get it,i had ma fun,u might also use ur talents (lik dancing,acting,talking n so on) on camp.in each platoon,dere ar executive positions lik pres,vice-pres,secretaries n d likes,u can tap in 2dis too,itz gonna aid ur posting too,i wz d platoon treasurer (datz 4 keeping d platoon money), it wznt stressful lik d oda positions.al d best stil.
