Is there anyone who knows about any superstitious belief associated with babies who come out the womb with their legs first.

Just like you said its just a superstitious belief..

Their are in fact different methods babies emerge from the womb..

its called the Breech presentation

Approximately 4 percent of babies present in the breech position when labor begins. In this presentation, the baby's bottom is the presenting part instead of
the head, which is called a vertex presentation. Using a technique called a version, an obstetrician may attempt to turn the baby to a head down position. . .

This is an absolutely normal birth complication, nothing superstitious/spiritual about it.. smiley

my nephew was born that way and he's perfect and intelligent. There is nothing wrong with it

yea i knw its just a normal birth complication. what i want to knw is if there is any belief about babies born this way. Thanks for sharing ur thought.

Yes there is @ motab(m),It is said that babies who comes out with their legs instead of their heads,are special babies,in Edo state they are called Igie,they are usually stubborn,and there is a belief that they were sent to earth for a purpose,they easily sense before things go wrong etc.
