Dear Sis., I truly understand your point. it's really bad when people see other people as been lazy when they have not gotten a job unless they are though . There is something I want us to understand, God has deposited something in each and everyone of us. But, some of us find it difficult to identify and develop it. Probably because some have refused to pay attention to details or start small no matter what it takes. I strongly believe that once you have identified what you can do for yourself help would come, God no be small boi
I encourage you to identify what you can do and like doing, God would definitely send help.
From there bigger n heavier job could emerge!............................... DO NOT NEGLECT YOUR DAYS OF LITTLE BEGINNING

The challenge of unemployment is a severe underdog in the presence of right-positive thinking, determination that knows no setback & persistence that recognises no such thing as failure.

Unemployment is a terrible situation. It scares the living hell outta me. its my worst fear. I cannot just stay and do nothing...dats suicidal.
Although I haven't really experience that much cus of the nature of my Job but I recall sometimes last year when I resigned and wanted a new place to work, I was home for about one month and mehn I felt like dying. SERIOUS Depression, Frustration, and I was always short-tempered.
Funny thing is dat I got 3 offers at once.
My Advice : Success is INTENTIONAL.., you gat to think outside the box. Even if na Minimum wage job u get, start from there. If no job, then try small biz.
I use to tell my friends back then in school " Let get PLAN B now just incase Jobs nor quick come ". No time to dey wait.

Hmmm may God help us. Sometimes i just feel like crying. Graduated from sec.skul 3yrs ago. It hurts seeing those far below average classmates of yours who you have to teach after school hours again before they grab it gain admission before you. It is well.

I pray that God will surely bless our handiwork in jesus name.
This is the major reason why I decided to venture into businesses first before proceeding to higher institution.
Since my primary school days, this has always been the chorus I usually hear from most post graduates.
But the good thing is that most of the people that lamented those days has a better story to tell today.
The basic principles there is to get the result first couple with the skills, knowledge and experience then you wait until whenever the almighty decides to remember you. Your story will definitely CHANGE for good.

Its not by force to attend UI, UNILAG, OAU and other universities with weird admission practices...
3 yrs is no joke..
Your mates that entered private universities have just one year left..
Re: The Pains Of The Unemployed by funsho007(m): 2:59pm On May 09, 2015
it's so painful that whn you call some people,it takes them time to pick up and even after picking, itz like u're a pain in the asss...
Every sound of mail that comes to ur phone,u quickly start praying hoping it''ll be confirmation/congraturatory email, only to see some adverts etc.

Of a truth the pain of an unemployed can be liken to that of an orpha; diverse temptations, cajoling here & there, name it...
We all had a feel of it at some point & I believe destiny have a unique way of pulling through & that one's blessing is delayed does not mean he's denied... Let's keep hope alive!
Re: The Pains Of The Unemployed by Anoruo(m): 3:03pm On May 09, 2015
i wonder where you expect a jobless person with little or no funds to go to...if you have been unemployed before you will understand better.
Re: The Pains Of The Unemployed by chamboy(m): 3:06pm On May 09, 2015
The Problem is that, the former ppl that experienced this problem didn't look for a way to reduce or stop it..
I have pledge that The Generation of My Children would never suffer the same faith. Tho, am jobless nw. Am Setting Up a team of Youths to eradicate Unemployment for Good.
I can't allow the same faith to happen to my children and your children too
This Vision is Vision2040...

Re: The Pains Of The Unemployed by Nobody: 3:14pm On May 09, 2015
It's not easy at all. I'm only in my first year at uni but I'm making sure I leave no stone unturned and I'm grabbing all possible opportunities to make myself employable and increase my value in the job market. Immediately I started university, I signed up for an employability award programme designed by my university, I keep my grades sky high, attend personal improvement/effective communication classes, CV writing seminars, networking events etc.
I also applied to be a student mentor for next year's incoming students and I'll be working throughout the holidays so I can at least have some work experience. Also taking one year off to work before my final year. That way, when I graduate, I'll hit the ground running by God's grace.
