walking on water

turning water to wine

rising from the dead

living to be 900 years (did our oxygen supply reduce or something)

having spiritual armies like Elisha

healing the sick

controlling the moon and sun by raising our hands

having the strength of Sampson

escaping from jail like Paul

How did we lose our supernatural abilities, what have we humans done wrong

We? At that time period was it every human that had such super powers?

since you are believe, can you explain the glory of God to me in physical terms. Has an oil spill been cleaned up by believing?? Why don't we see the physical manifestations of God's work today like brimstones falling on the taliban.

They may be waiting for the second coming.

Jesus said: "f any man believe in me, the work dat I do will he do also, greater work than this will he do because I go unto my father"

He also said: "When I come back to the world, will I meet faith on earth?"

The promises of God are still yea and amen. The problem we have is our faithlessness. Faith simply means: Forsaking All, I Trust Him. But today, a lot of things have clouded our mind and taken the position of God in our life. The Devil has clouded our heart with the affairs of this world. We dont want to wait on God, we want to make it quickly thru any means possible forgetting dat the eyes of God are purer than to behold iniquity.

If Jesus had fallen to the temptation of the devil and bowed down to the devil in exchange for the possession of this world, then Jesus would have fallen out of place with God but he was able to resist the temptation and thereby became the saviour of the world.

Concerning the issue of human life span, God Himself b/cos of our continued sinful nature had at one time or the other reduced the life span of human being; the last reduction was to 70 years.

Moreover, a good x-tian will not wish to spent 200 years in this sinful world when he knows he would be seeing God whenever he closes his eyes in death.

If you need powers from God,all you need do is simply receive Jesus truly into your life.The Bible says as many as received Him,to them He gave power.Thats the way to begin your power journey.But with power,you'll also need other fruits of the spirit like humility and purity

The problem is that most people believe the fiction and fantasy that were written by medieval men as true, we could not seperate fiction from realities at that time because the people that could write were very few, most of those medieval men wrote fiction and fantasies but because there wasn't a difference between fiction and reality as we have it in todays world their fantasy and fiction were passed from generation to generation as the trueword of their god. If Harry porter were written in that period it would be regarded as a divine revelation and the true word of god .

do you believe that pastor adeboye travelled for about 200 miles on an empty tank? i read some where that he made a person grow taller do you really believe any of these things really happened?

As i said ealier the bible is the writings(fantasy and fiction) of ancient and primitive men. the funny parts are the parts i love most.

"And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

Isn't that a scream? Just picture God walking in the midst of the camp and stepping in a big steaming pile of excrement because some lazy Israeli soldier didn't bury it with a paddle on his weapon! Imagine Yahweh's rage! so a pile of excrement in the camp is enough to make Yahweh turn away from his people

God takes such matters quite seriously. He doesn't like anyone pissing against the wall either:

Why don't pastors ever base their Sunday sermons on chestnuts like these? The Bible is full of these howlers, so why dwell on the bland parts? The Bible is a hoot! It's basically the writings(fantasy, fiction and views) of ancient men that were not peer- reviewed in any way.

I have shown you countless pages from the bible where we see people showing super human strenght (Samson) _{Judges chapter 13 through to 16}, a man being swallowed by whale and survived three days in its stomach _{(NOTE: without oxygen, food or water) Jonah chapters 1 through 4}, a man being able to call fire from heaven (Elijah) _{II Kings chapter 1} , we have heard of a woman turning into a pillar of salt (Lot's wife) _{Genesis chapter 19:26}, we read of a man being lifted into heaven in a chariot of fire (Elijah) _{II Kings chapter 2:11}, we read of pools being stirred by angels that could heal all illnesses/affliction (Bethesda) _{Luke chapter 5:4}, or is it the case where a sunken axe floated (Elijah) _{II Kings 6: 5 & 6}, e.t.c.

I could keep on going. We only asked a very simple question, and i will repeat it for you to hear;
