Guy,

I can help you set this up for just 50k and a corporate account with my bank. Contact me and i would send you the webpay forms.

we would send the API directly to your site developer. All cards would be accepted at a transaction charge of 1.5%.

Direct discussion with interswitch would cost you about 100k.

Thanks

Dear Friends,

I need your help on the procedures on how to integrate an online payment in my website. Any link or portal to study please just deposit.

Thanks!

Depending on your budget, technical skills and platform used in building your website.

The following are the options available to you if you reside in Nigeria:

1. WebPay - It is a payment gateway powered by interswitch Ltd. This platform will set you back with #150k for integration.

2. GTPay - Its a payment gateway powered by GTBank. You must have an account in GTBank to use GTPay. It will set you back by #75k for integration.

3. VoguePay - They are payment aggregator and operated by Afrisoft Ltd. They are connected to Interswitch WebPay. The platform will set you back by #1k (Business Account fee). Noted that you will pay higher processing fee per transactions.

4. CashEnvoy - They are also a payment aggregator connected to Interswitch WebPay. CashEnvoy is free to integrate. You will also pay high processing fee per transactions.

Hope this help.

Paypal does it for me and their payment integration is quite easy.

Step 1.

Open a merchant/business account.

Step 2.

Obtain an Api key after veryfing your account.

Step 3.

Implement the Api on your website with a set of codes.

Violla!

You're now ready to take payments via Paypal.

Remind me of posting a more detailed tutorial on my blog at www.gidilink..com

Not advisable to use paypal in Nigeria because you can't withdraw your money from our local banks ...
You can only use paypal if you have a US or EU bank mastercard which you can use to withdraw your money through our atm machine ...
However paypal is the most convienient to use.

Well, the local merchants in Nigeria charge outrageous amounts... I'd advice you use Paypal... Well, some might ask: but paypal does not allow one to recieve payments in Nigeria..Well, there is a way to legally get above this...

You can use Payoneer card to verify your paypal...
You can open one abroad, and verify it...PS: connect your bank account abroad to it....this should enable you withraw with your credit card in Nigeria.
You can have a person abroad open one in his or her name, just in case...your account needs some sort of verification...But I advise you browse with a foreign IP to lower any kind of suspicion...
That's it.
There are other merchants out there too...

@ Nickzom

Use VoguePay.

Very easy to sign up and get started.

You can use it to accept payment on any site, be it html site, Blogger, Wordpress, Joomla etc

Even if you don't have a website, you can use it to receive online payment by making use of email invoice you can generate from your Voguepay account.

I use it and loving it.

The most straightway to integrate Paypal payment to your website is by incorporating direct Paypal Buy Now button. It is basically including a code in your HTML site page which may resemble this:

<form name="_xclick" action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick">
<input type="hidden" name="business" value="me@mybusiness.com">
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD">
<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Teddy Bear">
<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="12.99">
<input type="image" src="http://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_buynow_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!">
</form>

What bank is that? I'm building something groundbreaking and I'm having issues with online payment integration. Can you help me?

It's not the cheap 50k that got me, but the personal touch that I've not been able to find. Also note that InterSwitch integration is my preference.

Let's talk. Send me a PM.

I was told by the GTbank nationwide IT head that the 75K fee is being directed to Interswitch. Not GTB's money. But GTPay will handle the integration.
