Hello, everyone and godbless you all. I am a first time user on him and i'm nervous i don't want no one downing me or talking about me. I was involved with a guy from nigerian i met him we started off talking and things led to more. We would shop at the african stores for food he would cook for me on the weekends take me out and i would spend the night with him all the time. He talk to me about his family and how they had hurt him before i thought we were pretty close. But then i started finding other women numbers he told me i have a problem with commitment. So i knew then to leave but i was so in love. He said im going to get better things got worse. He obviously met someone else that drove him wild he could not even look at me in the eye when would talk and go out. He started putting me down out my hair my skin tone everything. The things he found so beautiful at first this hurt me. Because you know what i know i am not african but i am african american so i felt i related in some way but in the end he acted as if i was a dog not good enough for him. He almost destroyed me but by the grace of our god i am here and blessed. You know i got calls from across the street were he works someone would hang up i knew it was him. After he admitted i just dont feel the same for you i begged him to stay with me i cried i feel so so dumb for that. He left he said he had feeling for the other woman. He told one day maybe will be married he said i dont know what is wrong with me you are a good person i just dont know. But i know this he left me feeling like a fool a real fool.

what can i say but, pick your self up,try and get over him( easier said than done right?) and move on!

there is no use dwelling on so much hurt and heart break! its a whole new world out there, you will find your own man

it seems like he is confused about himself. he is right. he doesn't know what he wants. anyway, it looks like he is not ready to settle down to one woman. he wants to continue to play the field. i know it sounds hard, but move on. one day you will look back and think to yourself why was I such a fool being with that knuckle head. you will be found by someone who will love you for you and he will not renig on anything he said about you from those romantic beginnings. yes, God is certainly good!

awww, really sorry gurl but am sure he didn't do that to u cos u ain't african or cos u're african-american cos am sure they'll do the same to their fellow nigerians. They main thing is that u learnt ur lessons and am sure u'll won't the same mistake again. Trust me gurl, he'll be back and make sure u don't take him back. I just want to say regarding this guy i have prayed for him so many times. I have prayed that he will come to know the lord and that god will touch his heart i know that he will. I have decided to move on its funny when you build all these dreams in your mind that youll end up with someone and you don't but we have to lean onto gods understanding not ours well also need to seek the kingdom of god and all things shall be added. I had to learn this the hard way. I also want to pray for the nigerian culture really all cultures of men. That they can grow to love women and realize the blessing. Think of your mother would you want a man to hurt your mother or sister. I feel the devil is trying to take over our hearts. The lord created us we are his lets stomp the devil. It is not about africans not liking black people or vice versa. It's time for us to come together and not fall for the devil's ploy. That was so touchy, I know u will find someone better. I can assure you that the guy is not good enough for you. Believe me, anybody who will leave you for no good reason isn't worth ur pride. You may have learnt the hard way but it's all part of life. It's only a mistake if it repeats itself. However, do not rush into another relationship nor stay broken hearted but pray as you are doing and you will soon find your real soul mate.
On a last lap, it's not about Nigerian men or African men, it's not a cultural thing also, it's an individual thing so don't take it out on nigeria men.
