HORRIBLE! CULTISTS ATTACK IN BROAD DAYLIGHT AFTER CHURCH SERVICE IN MAKURDI (PHOTOS) Benue.com.ng | May 17, 2015 It happened at about 12 noon today (Sunday, 17 May 2015) just as people were returning from Church, a boy was shot and macheted by suspected cultists at Edward Ujege Street, High Level in Makurdi, Benue State. An eye witness told our reporter that six boys in their twenties who came on foot attacked the victim with machetes and shot him in the face, afterwhich they took off, leaving the poor boy in the pool of his blood. Passersby then rushed in to help the victim while some others alerted the police who came after a while and rushed the boy to a hereby hospital. There have been incessant attacks in Benue State lately, just earlier today in Gboko, unknown gunmen shot a man, killing him and injuring two others in the vicinity. (Sunday Tragedy! Op, you forgot that add that most christians on their way back from church didn't bother to help him. I guess they will wait till next Sunday to ask for forgiveness from God. Oh, what a country! One can't even call an ambulance to help the guy up. No first aid. No police officer on the scene to begin investigations and ensure the victim is taken care of. Don't get me wrong, he might be a cult member himself. That's how they roll. But the situation in this country is truly appalling. Its either god doesn't exist or he just doesn't care |
