The ongoing Miss Nairaland contest has a rule that does not go down well with me.
The particular rule i'm talking about says:

"Demeaning and insulting remarks to the contestants shall not be tolerated. Defaulters shall be banned throughout the duration of the contest without option of parole."

This is a blantant denial of freedom of speech! I have the right to say those girls are useless and irresponsible. I have the right to say most of them are ugly. I should be able to say whatever i want to say!

Rule 2 of Nairaland says: Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to Nairaland members... You'll be banned.
