Can some tell the shortsighted SW leaders to start celebrating our heritage and civilisation ? A public holiday in the whole of the SW for a start. Our forefathers took time to study the stars ( astronomy)and record the passing of time. Yet these bunch of myopic leaders with their modern liberal nonsense seem to have gotten the wrong education. The only astro anything I know today is hakeem in America. The Chinese and other nations celebrate their new year as a sign of the nationalism. We celebrate a tacky lagos carnival. Always eager to celebrate holidays relating to religions we Fuxcking have no clue about. Yet they do not celebrate the art, science, technology, knowledge and philosophy of the yoruba civilisation. 2 Likes |

oduastates: I am a kin follower of your posts and I respect your economic analysis that I often wonder if you are a micro-economist. I am a mechanical engineer whose knowledge of economics does not go beyond what I learned in secondary school, I would love to connect with you on WhatsApp, I want to know how some economy boom and others get doomed. My WhatsApp number is. Thanks. I am deeply sorry for derailing this topic, I will delete this post as soon as oduastate respond. |

Volksfuhrer: I assume you are a true blue Oduduwa person and as such, may I ask you to translate 31,842 AOD to yoruba please? If you are authentic this should take you only a few minutes - the supposition here is that your core language is as sophisticated as Ajami. |

APCLyingBastard: Millilium Ogenerobo, why did you abandon your GTBYO, LeOstrich, RevDesmondJuju accounts? Millilium Ogenerobo, why did you deactivate your WombRaiders account? Millilium Ogenerobo, why did you open your ppangel (f) account to defraud unsuspect male Nairalanders by pretending to be a girl? Millilium Ogenerobo, why did you keep on opening accounts after being ban? At your age, why can't you obey simple rule? 1 Like |

I will also be happy if we can have a yoruba years and full callender with a well grounded reference! Yoruba do have days( aiku=sunday, aje=monday, isegun=tuesday, ojoru=wednesday, ojobo=thursday, eti=friday, abameta=saturday), weeks and months, but we really do not have a reference year. |

APCLyingBastard: You are inconsequential in the scheme of things. That is why you open multiple handles to talk someone live his life or spend his hard-earn money. Millilium Ogenerobo, you have no life, you are in your 60's still living with your aged parents. All you do all day is to sit behind only God knows which gadget, to type trash. Millilium, if you have life you won't be on Nairaland all day. Get a life man. |
