Buhari, Probe Jonathan For The Sake Of National Interest! - Theophilus Danjuma by naijapips: 8:06am On May 24, 2015 |
Former Defence minister, General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd), yesterday advised the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, to investigate President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration over the $60billion debt profile it would bequeath to the country, with nothing to justify it. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/sunday/index.php/news/20807-danjuma-to-buhari-you-must-probe-jonathan 7 Likes 2 Shares |

The fact is that for any nation to move in the right direction and progress toward real development, each and every government must be held accountable for her actions and inactions. Only when people realize that they will be called to answer for their deeds and misdeeds would they behave reasonably. I know many people will argue that for Buhari to probe GEJ or any of his ministers, he must first probe IBB, OBJ and many before GEJ. What they are not mindful of is the fact that President Buhari cannot probe all for lack of time and enormity of the tasks at hand but he is morally obliged to look into actions of his immediate predecessors and not all before him. If he does this, Nigeria will have taken a very giant step in moving towards accountability. When he is done too, let his successor probe his tenure. before we know it, our elected officials will be guided in their deeds knowing full well that there are consequences for their actions while in office. 162 Likes 9 Shares |

Jonathan and his cohorts must be probed and if need be jailed for wrecking the Nigerian economy. By now that should be a no-brainer. They've been lying to us all this while about the true state of the economy. They need to be held accountable. 14 Likes |

And buhari has to probe the siemens scandal and haliburton scandal too oo. See who is talking,an individual who is known to amass wealth not through his industrial or creative ingenuity but by virtue of him being an Army General, a northern bigot. Nigerians these are the guys, I mean d northern oligarchy that will always kick against resource control because they know that wat they will crumble. Northerners are just hmmm mm, smh.Ask him the number of oil wells he owns in the niger delta.Jonathan wz trying 2 fight this kind of in appropriateness but he wasn't focus as to the demands of his office, he too failed. He was in a perfect position to right some wrongs ;by virtue of him being the president, he had great I mean enormous powers,he had the capacity to kick against the wickedness of the north but what did he do, he did nothing, guess dats why retards lyk danjuma have the guts to spew gibberish. Funny enough jonathan never used half of his presidential powers if not Apc wouldn't have even stood the test of time. 74 Likes 2 Shares |

$60bn? This is outrageous.... But Jonathan why?... I mean how?.. I can now see why one senator-elect from Kaduna, said Jonathan ran Nigerian economy like "a come and eat restaurant"... It looks like under Jonathan, nobody was coordinating anything and nobody was giving account for anything... And some persons told us that Ngozi blocked every loophole through which money was been siphoned under previous governments... What I don't understand is how this amount went out without anything to show for it. 12 Likes |

liberty300: Isn't it ironical that those who claim to want a better country don't care about who steals their money? Maybe we should call all those who don't want a probe and subtract the money from their salaries till they finish paying it from their hardwork, as a sign of true sacrifice to their beloved country 22 Likes |

Jonathan should be probed and punished, nothing will happen, the heavens will not fall. How can we be serious about turning around our travails as a country if we still cannot be objective enough to do what is right without sentiments. The argument that he should be left alone as past leaders were not probed, lacks all validity because; 1. No one restrained him from doing so, his failure to do so effectively underlines his incompetence; 2. Show me a past Nigerian leader that left the coffers empty AND plunged us in a N13 Trillion debt. 14 Likes |

PassingShot: As much as I am not a member of TAN, PDP or any of such. I am an unrepentant fan of Jonathan! Danjuma whose hand spilled Ironsi's blood is one of the most corrupt Nigerians. He owns an oil well in the South South. Just like some Emirs who too who the only knowledge they ahve about crude oil is that it makes their Dollar account to swell, how did Danjuma come about his oil well? People like him earn more than some State Governments. When Jonathan became president, did Danjuma call him to probe OBJ? Something is wrong somewhere. Buhari can probe Jonathan and all his ministers, he must probe those who handled security also (most of them are from the north). If he probes Jonathan, Iweala, Deziani and Odua only, I wont be suprised. After all, when the criminal called Buhari and his gang of power hungry gangsters in the Nigerian army trampled upon the constitution and arrogate to themselves ultimate powers, Shagari his kinsman was kept under house arrest while Ekwueme, Shagari's vice was kept in prison. Let Jonathan be jailed! It will be a hard and harsh reward for his devotion to Nigeria and monumental impact he made for the North. Bros, haul your stones. 35 Likes 3 Shares |

PassingShot: I support a COMPREHENSIVE probe of Jonathan administration from 2010-2015...Throw the cards open and let the world judge...ALL offenders should rot in jail... Believe me, all the people you wish to see in jail may most likely come out unscathed while most APC drivers and consultants will be culpable...Remember, Jonathan dared buhari to probe that he isn't afraid of probe... 8 Likes 1 Share |

Whynotthetruth: Who are the people you think will come out unscathed? Diezani, Abba Moro, NOI, Stella oduah, Bala Muhammed, Musiliu Obanikoro, Farouk Lawan and their likes can NEVER escape guilty verdict. I don't care a bit about anyone who is found or not found guilty anyway. I just know that it is the right thing to do for the country to start getting things right. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Whynotthetruth: This will be very good for democracy. I don't care who is involved, whether APC or PDP, I just want the government to set a precedence that says "if you're caught stealing, no mercy".. It's digusting that people would embezzle money when there are very legitimate ways of making money if you're privileged to be close to government. This country is useless without enforcement of law. I don't give a damn about party affiliation, anyone who is culpable should pay the price... 5 Likes |

noblezone: Kindly outline the 'monumental impact' he made in the North. This man's incompetence led to the massive loss of lives in the region, yet they are insulted daily with lies and echoed fallacies of how he turned the North to Shangri-la. Unless you would also be proud if Buhari claims his achievement in the east when he is leaving, is the construction of a dozen baby factory workers rehab centre or baby factory bastard training centres, please leave out the almajiri school tripe in your response. 3 Likes |
