So Abba Moro is still a minister of the federal republic...even after the Immigration recruitment scandal.

...one of the reasons GEJ lost.

The Federal Government has announced that Friday, May 29, will be observed as a Public Holiday to celebrate the 2015 Democracy Day.

The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, made the declaration on behalf of the federal government in a statement signed yesterday by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Abubakar Magaji.

In the statement, Moro urged Nigerians at home and Diaspora to support the incoming government of Muhammudu Buhari, and pray for the success of Nigeria’s democratic process.

Moro also congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan and Nigerians for the successful conduct of the 2015 general elections.

The President-elect, Buhari was hailed for his electoral victory, as Moro, wished his administration good luck.
President Jonathan will formally hand over power to Buhari, on May 29, which is the country’s democracy day celebration.

Friday is not just a public holiday, it is also a day of liberation from the shackles of PDP. I have never seen a political party more evil and wicked in my entire life. After 16 years there is no light, no refineries, no adequate hospitals, no water, mediocre schools and yet they have the temerity to run for reelection.
APC may not be saints but at least even the devil is not as heartless as the PDP demons. May God give Buhari and the new leaders wisdom as they are being ushered into power. Amen.

Buhari should please but a limit on the number of holidays Nigeria has in a year. Every time, holiday, holiday. No wonder there's no productivity anywhere.

A public holiday on May 29 is not necessary, except on handover / inauguration years.
