a) All the massive structures and facilities installed at AKS polytechnic at Ikot Osurua (Ikot Ekpene LGA)?
b) All the new structures and facilities at COE Afaha Nsit (Etinan LGA)
c) The entire Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, which only existed in concept when Akpabio took office in 2007
d) How about the 45 staff of the new university that have been sponsored from masters to their PhDs in UK, US and Canada?

As much as I don't like fanfare when a government official perform his/her job ( It is what they swore to oath to do), I hate to see the hatred, negativity, 'pull them down syndrome' and outright ignorance that this kind of thread generate on this forum.

The hotel looks good and will boost tourism but to me I consider it misplaced priority just like the stadium except he is running human development policies alongside the project.

Akpabio brought Julius berger to the state awarded them contracts to build over 7km of underground pipe jacked drains in Uyo and Abak LGA , which employed several locals in the project who now have experience in that novel area of technology which is alien to this parts of the world.

7).The structures erected in Akwa Ibom like the world class stadium, this hotel, the e library, the ibom hospital etc these are structures that are of first world standards and guess what that is doing to the competence of the local Akwa ibom construction workers in terms of work Experience capacity building not to talk of employment.

capital project with durability. yes. capital project that will yield capital profit if properly managed. yes. do you no that that hotel can pay many ministeries in akwa ibom? so many governors wasted theirs to invisible projects and uncompleted ones, no one is questioning. or didn't you read the papers where a governor was stopped from commissioning an uncompleted project? so why cry fowl to someone that started and finished a project that at the long run will be of benefit to the state if properly managed. People from all tribes are suffering because we have leaders without wealth creation ideas. This is a project that can generate chains of employment and reduce the suffering of his people. Good job.

A few years Akpabio was on KAkaki and talkednso much about his people doing menial jobs all around the nation. He illustrated with a story that when you enter some houses of the rich, it is Akpan at the gate, Okon as gatrdener or house keeper, Ekaette is the house girl etc. He therefore, put in place compulsory, completely free Education and ordered every citizen of the state in a comprised situation to come back home. Many of them did, so many of them did.. PDP, APC, Progressive or whatever way you look at it, Akpabio is one of the Top Performance in our political history.
