Another 46-year-old trekker, David Adjarho, has arrived Abuja, today, May 27, to promote ‘wrapper marathon’ in Nigeria. Adjarho, speaking to Newsmen on his arrival in Abuja, said the exercise was to promote tourism and attract investment into such a marathon. The trekker according to Vanguard, started his journey in Lagos and completed the 787- kilometer walk on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Speaking on his awareness, the trekker said wrapper marathon was aimed at promoting the use of wrapper in marathons instead of wearing the conventional Jaycees. Adjarho, who wore a 15-yard Ankara material, said he hoped to promote a N500 million fund raiser for five Non-Governmental Organisations in the country. READ ALSO: End Of Trekking?
