I don't believe dis! Maybe u are not telling us d truth. U mean just for him to leave u alone was what led to d four slaps & d beating dat ensued? It sounds very far fetched.

What kind of a guy does that? No matter how short tempered he is, dat's not enough reason for him to beat u. I suggest u call it a quit, because coping with people dat are short fused can be very difficult.

But concealing certain things & telling us one side of d story is bias...
