It is no news that President Muhammadu Buhari was sworn into office on 29th May 2015, taking over the mantle from a clueless kindergarten morally jaundiced clannish erstwhile president.

The new government is yet to take shape as most required aides are yet to receive their briefs, ministers are yet to be nominated for clearance by a legislature which itself is yet to be inaugurated, even the SGF is yet to be appointed.

Sadly as most have noticed, agents of the disgraced corrupt political and economic cabal hiding under an umbrella of political mafia that schemed to forever remain above the laws of the republic, are already up in arms demanding a garden of Eden transformation of the same country they argued was not in need of change.

The new government is yet to take stock of the statistics contained in the handover notes presented by the previous regime. An exercise which I believe would reveal the true state of the country and would afford the president the facts on which to model his rescue programmes.

After having celebrated 4000MW electricity generating capacity in late 2006, the GEJ regime re-celebrated the same feat in late 2014. The apologists of that disgraceful regime claimed the earlier feat of the OBJ regime was a smoke screen without the infrastructure to sustain it and theirs was the real deal, however this real deal only had 1300MW to hand over as at the last week of the administration.
The same apologist have been crying allover the internet like workers who did not receive their paycheck on Friday, demanding for services they never longed for in the life of the previous administration.

This has proven that those who demanded and ensured change were not insane afterall. That they did not hate an Ijaw man for the fun of it, as issues are now being discussed without mentions of "our brother" in an attempt to defend a federal president. It is also welcoming that those who were asking for securities have suddenly found their voices and are now demanding for services instead.

Suddenly, the morality of having a public declaration of assets is now being brought to the fore, against the previous disposition of not giving a damn. I expect that having met the statutory condition of filing papers of asset declaration at the start of the tenure, the presidency will subsequently make a public declaration to the delight of citizens who have re-awakened their morality now that there are no clannish loyalties at stake.

It would behove the new opposition party to learn from its 16years of folly, and tackle issues objectively. It presently has no political capital to rely on, and would be easily sent to its deserved final resting place if the people who at great odds fought to free themselves from it's clutches, suspect them as still steadfastly acting as a clog in the nation's wheel of progress.

Your first sentence messed up the essence of your write-up.

Besides, are you still living in the past?

Nigeria has moved beyond GEJ. We have forgiven him all his ills the same way we forgave your brother OBJ and his friend Atiku. As far as we are concerned they are free from all blame (disagree?)

This is the era of PMB and we will criticize him as we see fit. You and your likes cannot dictate to us how we should address the shortcomings of the president.

Hypocrisy or not we must place a check on everything Buhari does. If you don't like it thats your cake to eat.

Surprisingly, APC paid agents now term criticism hypocrisy.

Who is hypocritic then when they garnished their criticism of Jonathan with unprintable name calling / insults.

Even their party elders did not exhibit any restraints in the barbaric behaviour.

Insulting the president was even counted as achievements for their governors.

Perhaps the OP was not born then or he has chosen the path of selective amnesia.

If the inconsequential e-supporters can't handle criticism of APC government, I wonder how the boss whose reputation is laced with strong aversion for media freedom will be able to.

The next four years will be very interesting.

Are criticisms supposed to be based on a 1day tenure in office? Criticisms coming from quarters who seemed to relish the dire state of affairs prior to the presidential election?

I forgot, no more clannish loyalties to tie your tongues that have been glued for the past 5years.

You will only offer red meat to the party base that could not prevent your ignoble defeat. Would it win you more supporters to help win a national election someday?

I think not.
