Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has bought a 4 million pound home in Hong Kong, Britain’s Sunday Times reported.

Citing unnamed sources in Zimbabwe, the newspaper identified an intermediary who it said had helped arranged the purchase of the three-storey property, in a walled and gated complex in an exclusive area of Hong Kong.

It was bought last year, as Mugabe’s 20-year-old daughter began studying at the University of Hong Kong, the newspaper said. Are you that shortsighted that you cannot see any other paradise beyond the USA? Some people sha.

Like dead Congolese Dictator Mobutu Sese-Seko,  Tyrant Mugabe, the Monkey on Zimbabwe's Back,  will ultimately flee his crumbling castle built on repression and regression, to sicken then die ignominiously in exile, surrounded by but a few relatives and former cronies.

Hopefully some day subsequent to that natural progression, this recently acquired property in Hong Kong will feature as one of many real-estate holdings and assets that will be carefully traced to Mugabe, and then liquidated for re-absorption into Zimbabwe's economy from whence it was all stolen.

i think the list of countries where he could go and hide, after his ransacking of the country's coffers, is pretty limited and HK might be a wise move. although HK being part of China now, it is not comparable.

You didn't just write that did you? Despite the fact that HK is now part of China, it's still a class among the rest. Believe that or not.

The article if true has just confirmed that Mugabe is probably already running mad. I may be sounding to annoyed but I believe what was done to Saddam Hussein should be done to Mugabe as they are committing the same offence in different forms.
