Boko haram activities are influenced by their ideology which is interlinked with religion.

Bokoharam intensified their attacks when people of their religion became uncomfortable with their actions.

The first and most important step to take is to ensure that the foot soldiers they have are the last set they can recruit from Nigeria. This is what Gej tried to do by the almajiri schools.

The islamic religious leaders have not done enough to enlighten the youths on the dangers of such action on their soul. I guess they were partially in support for political reasons.


Secondly:- Intel is so vital in any war. The govt should gather as much intel as possible about the sect. And weed out the moles in the army.

Buhari should understand that he shares the same faith as these terrorists and they will intensify their attack as much as possible. Because they believe one of their own is now attacking them. The worst type of enemy to fight are those from within and those who are ready to die.

Once he moves them to Maiduguri, all bokoharam needs to do to bring his govt and Nigeria to stand still, is to attack the capital and Major areas in Nigeria.

Command control center consists of military of diff specialization. Some are data analysts and strategists . Thats where intel and data are processed.
