Lol.... Someone was sworn in on Friday, today is Monday and you're here complaining of him saying 'We will(s)'. Are you referring to his inaugural speech? What should he used? Present tense?

Hope you would still show your face on nairaland if PMB performs better than GEJ?
barcanista:
Bros, Baba should get to work. He wasn't elected to use the "We will..." Line, but to start with action...

We "will do this and that" ended when he won, we want to hear him say "we are going to"

Go read his press statement on BH and read his speech on corrupt officials...these are post inauguration events.

PS: There is no "weekend" in governance.

As I have said to your colleague and friend, the ball is set rolling and time would be the judge. If he fails, never again will the masses allow bad governance to continue. Enough is a enough.

The persistent rumour Buhari sleeps an average 12 - 14hrs a day gained currency the many times he was caught sleeping at campaign venues. He would soon realise he's in the wrong job if his idea was to come and sleep all day at Aso Rock.
He's on a long thing

I still remember her "Infamous" attempt to sell off our FG Unity schools, many workers were retrenched then and some others lived in perpetual fear that they may see their names in the next retrenchment lists. Some of the retrenched staff died while commuting from their base to Abuja to sort things out ( my friend's dad who was retrenched from FGC Okigwe). It was terrible then

It will be highly unlikely that all The Chibok girls will be rescued due to the fact that they have been missing for far too long and their trail has gotten cold. But if they do their work well with captured Boko Haram members maybe we can get some back to their families but to get all of them back is not possible.

When we said the old soldier cannot operate in a democratic dispensation the gullible ones were shouting change.

When you start primary school at old age, imagine when you will get to primary four...Now we have a complete learner as a president. it's a pity!

I think our state governors and local government chairman need to change their attitude to governance as development starts from the grassroot. The federal government disburse resources to the state but the state governor spends the money wrongly on project that has no impacts on the lives of the people. Also, corruption and looting of public fund is a common trends among our governors and other public office holder.

Although, President Buhari is the President of Nigeria and the entire country comes under his country there are area he will find it difficult to supervise like the activities at the state level. A governor might decides to ignore Buhari and go ahead to be stealing.

Despite all this thieving governor, God will help Nigeria and the new President to move Nigeria forward.

The 36 state governors and 774 LGA chairmen have NO incentive whatsoever to "change their attitude to governance".
Why

Simple, we have all decided to remain focused solely on the president as a "messiah" who knows all and will do all on our behalf.
For as long as reason that way, we shall continue to be under-developed and ALLOW our governors and LGA people steal us blind.
QED!!!
