Sign agreement on no more killings, I will withdraw JTF, Jonathan to Borno elders
March 09, 2013

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Maiduguri, accused Borno State Elders of playing to the gallary over the activities of Boko Haram Islamic sect insurgency in the state, describing the situation as unfortunate.

Jonathan spoke during an interactive session with Borno State stakeholders at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House Maiduguri, in continuation of his two- day working visit to Borno and Yobe States, the epicentres of Boko Haram.

He was responding to requests by the Elders for the Federal Government to grant amnesty to the sect members as well as withdraw the military Joint Task Force, JTF from Maiduguri and other areas in the state during the second day of his working visit to Borno State..

President Jonathan lamented that none of the elders in the state had publicly condemned the killings and bombings being carried out by the sect members and advised them to put their ‘’house in order,’’ by talking to their children who had been causing havoc in the country to drop their arms against the country.

In my opinion, it has never favored us because we deal with them as servants to masters.
The moment we make meaningful demands, Britain can come out clear to say YES or NO.
I wonder why French colonies benefits more from France that British colonies in Africa benefit less from Britain;but I dont think same goes for their colonies in oyibo land.
Just my opinion though, well knowledgeable gurus can shed more light on this.

It has never favoured us because they don't want us to grow. They set us up badly be merging 3 regions that will never agree n den continue to rule over us through neocolonialism.

Its divide n rule tactics, they are gaining from our division.

Respect. He started with meeting Tony Blair, then unto John Kerry, then unto David Cameron and now to G7 summit. That's how the respect is earned, not by building walls but by building bridges across divides. With this comes an unlimited access to d magic of the working economies in exchange for the latent integrity and professionalism that Nigeria has to offer
Respect is not all about meeting world leaders who don't give a damn about our existence except for their own benefits. Respect is commanded when he provides his campagn promises or perhaps it's just another fraud or political jingoism.

China started unprecedented growth wen they removed the west from their lands n started working with Russia.

India started to grow wen split the old joining together of many tribes that Britain forced to form India. Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan all split from India and the nation started growing with speed.

Korea, Malaysia n most especially Singapore grew with the economic explosion in China n in their region generally...

Great Britain has never favoured any country.....They have very few resources n because of that, they are only interested in exploiting others.

Go n read about the great British economy, its shrinking now massively, They have been losing the resources they have been collecting from their former colonies over the years.

They never supported GEJ because he kept reducing their chances of milking us dry

You be real olodo plus otondo just like your idol, the Daura President who ran away from school to join the army on his principal's recommendation.

Otherwise you would be aware of this:

The 36th G8 summit was held in Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, on June 25–26, 2010.

The summit included an "Africa outreach" session.[8]

Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President [30]
Egypt Hosni Mubarak, President [31] (was invited but was unable to attend)[32]
Ethiopia Meles Zenawi, President [33]
Malawi Bingu wa Mutharika, President [34]
Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan, President [35]
Senegal Abdoulaye Wade, President [36]
South Africa Jacob Zuma, President [37]

More from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/36th_G8_summit

He was invited several times again as shown below =>

The 37th G8 summit was held on May 26–27, 2011, in Deauville, France

The President of Nigeria was invited, but Goodluck Jonathan decided not to attend at the last minute. He worried that volcanic ash from an eruption in Iceland might delay his return flight to Nigeria; and this could disrupt his planned inauguration ceremonies on May 29.[17]

That respect can be recognized internally before it escalate externally. Our internal problem is at large; Economy mismanagement, corruption, insurgents, lack of basic infrastructures and social amenities. What economy advantage do we stand to gain? Deep down the line they only care about themselves.
