Pls doc(s), my throat, eyes, nose and inner ears ve bin itching terribly, I sneez a lot nd each tym I do d itching in d ear becomes very serious. allergy is caused by a neurotransmitter called histamine,,,allergy occurs in environments where there is much pollen grains,,dust etc,,,so wen these are released,,d histamine bcomes hypersensitive to it causin those Symptons u mentioned earlier,,therefore an allergic patient shld take anti-histamine drugs

Hello house,

i just got tested for malaria in the hospital and completed malaria treatment with P.alaxin two days ago. Prior to this, i had taken Amoxicillin for about one week when i thought it was a typhoid fever.
The current issue is that i don't feel much of the malaria symptoms anymore but there's a continuous weakness/trembling in my legs and joints all over my body. Could this be an effect of the medication i previously took? what can i do please cos i'm worried.

It has side effects dear. The big chin, fat arms tummy and legs that you will get is the side effects of the drug. Xasten contains dexamethasone, a steroid that causes sodium and water retention in the body. When there is the retention of fluids, the body appear big and 'fat'. However the heart starts suffering for the extra load its 'owner' is giving it. . not scaring you though. I wouldnt advise you take it. No professional would ask you to take it for that purpose. Eat good food and worry less about being fat. Dont know if you have started giving birth. But the probability is there you will be fat when you start having kids .

Yes, I had bout of the trembling once or twice while I was on the amoxicillin meds.

Right now I'm off all meds but the trembling won't stop, I feel it when I'm trying to get off the bed most especially. My legs and hands starts shaking vigorously.

That could be a sign of vitamin B1, B6 and B 12 deficiency, vitamins for proper nerve functions. Too much alcohol usually deplete them. If you take alcohol, you may want to stop it or reduce it to the barest minimum. Cheers.
