Just a simple answer, it is so that they can operate a government of transparency and openness. Knowing how hard it is to satisfy Nigerians and how antagonistic we are, would you fault them?

I don't think that's a good idea. Nigerians are naturally blood thirsty and you don't want to empower such a people with means to act on their thirst.

Any modification of the scheme that still takes Christians and southerners to the far north where vampires kill in the name of a non-existent god is rubbish. Let every prospective corp member pick 2 or 3 zones/states out of his zones/states and get posted to any of those three voluntary choices. Enough of needless loss of lives of promising youths in the name of serving a fatherland.
