Fuel Scarcity To End June 13 - THE SUMMARY by idrisa334: 9:20pm On Jun 05, 2015
The end of the current fuel scarcity in Nigeria appears to be in sight as oil marketers and the Ministry of petroleum resources have reached an agreement to end the current queues at petrol stations in most parts of the country by June 13.

The Permanent Secretary in the ministry, after a meeting with the marketers in Abuja said that the Pipelines And Product Marketing Company has been mandated to work with the oil marketers to ensure improved supply to retail outlets nationwide. Mr Haruna however identified the gridlock on the Oshodi-Apapa road as the major constraint to the improved supply of the product adding that while there is adequate stock for more than 20 days, over 2,000 trucks have been on the road for the past 10 days.
