Ethiopia of all countries...

As for Nigeria; No one is ready to put his/her money into a country ravaged with terrorism, painting it again with badt ass government that wouldn't guarantee your investment.
.

Well, APC went about unpatriotically painting 9ja bad to spite & unseat GEJ. They are now in charge and they'll have their work cut out to persuade investors to come.
As long as Boko keep blasting.

There's no incentive now for Buhari but love for the people and patriotism. If he does not posses these values, there is no America or the West for Nigerians to turn in order to complain about corruption, human rights and so on since America has shown itself to have no care for democracy in Africa of even genuine concern for human rights. This is because America's enthusiastic endorsement for despotic Chad and Cameroon has shown would be Nigerian leaders and Nigerian citizens that America is only self-interested.

Am not surprised at all.
Would you invest in a country governed by an illiterate?

The threats that were directed at South African investments in Nigeria was a begining of the end, now all SA money going to Ethiopia. No one will invest in a country where his/her investments are always at risk and threats every day. lessen learned

Nonsense! South African FDI to Nigeria is minuscule. It could be more than 80% of FDI to Nigeria is received in the oil and gas sector from almighty USA, China, UK , France and India. The fall of oil price and security problem in the North give rise to the increase in Ethiopian FDI. This has nothing to do with that xenophobic 'overrated' country. Believe me, South Africa is very insignificant in Nigeria when it comes to FDI

This is what happens when you threaten the likes of MTN, DSTV, Shoprite of this world. Other potential investors look the other way. who would put money in nigeria when there wont be garranteed of his/her investments. its like throwing mobey into an open pit. Wasn't it Nigerians who were threatening to nationalise dstv and mtn after the xenophobia incident. Now this is the results.

You come here to write trash all the time. I don't see what threatening MTN, DSTV, Shoprite over xenophobic attacks got to do with this. In fact, that is very sensible to investors that some action is being taken to get rid of evil nation citizens (in this case South Africa)are doing to other Africans(African immigrants). You don't know what you are writing about, seriously.

yes, but such threats not only push SA investors away alone, but even other countries companies who wished to invest, when they saw what SA companies were facing, they pulled back. You must be very careful of what you say and do ti foreign firms.

You are very funny! Yet South Africa is beefing up its investments in the country more than ever before. Please, stop making wild speculations.
