May their souls rest in peace.. our roads are very unsafe and some of the drivers do not obey traffic laws and speed limits. So many things are wrong with this country! |

Good Morning lovely people of Nigerians. Why not trying to be perfect I think people shud knw d difference btw FATAL nd GHASTLY cos ve seen lots of people make d mistk even here in Nairaland. If a death is involved even one itz called a FATAL accident BUT if ders no death nd no matter d degree of Injuries involved itz called a GHASTLY motor accident. In dis case itz suppose to be a Fatal accident NOT a Ghastly accident. Tnx Evryone 1 Like |

The government seriously needs to do something about that Calabar/Ikom road. It is in very bad shape and the Biase sdction is just terrible. I can understand how this kind of accident happened. I call it a road not a highway because I cannot imagine how and why it hasn't been dualised to ease passenger traffic and enhance safety. If I'm not mistaken Cross River is the only State whose capital is not accessible by a dual carriage-way despite it being one of the oldest states, a port city and growing industrial hub resulting in heavy vehicular movement. |
