I am sure tbere are many dilapidated schools like this in her hometown as well, probably including the ones she attended to obtain whatever education she is using to earm money spent on non-appreciative Arab economy.

OP are there no such schools in your village, it will be foolhardy to expect David Mark to transform all the public schools in his home town, besides don't they have a governor.

And so what ? Channel your grievance to the State and Local government authority, the arm of governments saddled with the responsibility of basic primary education, and that is if the picture is actually of a school in Benue, and not a random picture sourced from the net

There was a time he visited a Catholic church in benue state and promised to upgrade the church.Infact,he made a pledge of donation to the church.Since then,he has been dodging the church priest. That man na scam.

Dis is a disgrace to d prsn of mark, dis y we can't develop as a country

Dts how mmost senatorial districts of. most Senators are,all dey want is dia pocket

Shame shame and shame on d senators

David Mark is neither the local government chairman nor the State Governor. Besides is David Marks village not a village in Nigeria? Is it in the US, what do you expect, that all the schools in his village should be like prime schools of the super rich in FCT? Please we should stop being unduly paranoid and face reality.

Re: See What The School In David Mark Home Town Looks Like by Nobody: 2:41pm On Jun 17, 2015
I think we should blame the Local Govt Chairman....not Senator Mark.

While Senator Mark could have adopted some of the schools in his LGA as constituency project.....ultimately, schools in the rural and urban areas are the responsibility of the LGEA and ultimately the LGA under which the school falls.

The sad thing is that most LGA chairmen and women are really just there to chop. They are not there to do their jobs. (And no....it isn't Senator Mark's work to tell them to do their job either...unless you want to appoint him as Chief Babysitter for LG chairpersons).

I think that it is high time Nigerian LG chairmen and women were forced by the electorate to work hard. And yes...Senator Mark should pay more attention to his constituency.

However, David Mark may not have represented the youth during his leadership in the senate, but he is not the Commissioner of Education in his state or state government...didn't the state has budget for education yearly?
Let free the man and start planning our future!

but can't he use his ill-gotten wealth to benefit his people in a kind of situation like dis? In the form of philanthropy.
ROSSIKE:
Hang on a minute. It 's not actually David Mark's job as Senate leader to fix the schools in his village, unless you're asking him to misuse his position for personal/parochial benefit. You need to address the state and local govt authorities responsible for the school, NOT David Mark.

Primary school administration is under the purview of Local governments, I don't what this has to do with David Mark.

What is the allocation going to local government? And have you ever ask yourself why state governors are kicking against local government autonomy?
