Harmless questions: Why eat twice a day yet call it a fast? Between those who do 0-01/0-1-0 or 1-0-0 without people knowing and a person who eats twice a day and tells everyone he's fasting, who is d real person fasting? 2 Likes |

Dear Muslims, do NOT be forced/tempted to fight/speak-ill in the holy month. Leave them to do whatever they like at worst. Admonish them and pray for them at best. May Allah grant us all understanding and guide us to the right path. I wish us all Allah's Rahmah during and after this month. Ramadan Kareem! Jumáh Mubaarok!! 3 Likes |

Would it be permissible for one to use tooth brush and tooth paste to brush his teeth during fasting given that siwaak is acceptable? |
Re: Things That Do Not Break The Fast by Sadeeq2(m): 2:43pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
ItsMeAboki: Toothpaste and tooth brush or any other thing(s) that serve(s) the purpose of cleansing the mouth of a fasting person is permissible. BUT you would have to be very careful not to swallow it. However, it is best to stick with Siwaak as it is the sunna of the prophet (SAW). If by mistake, you swallow, your fast is still valid. Something similar to that is the swallowing is tasting of food by our muslim sisters. you are permitted to taste very very minute portion the food by tongue and not swallow to see it it meets you cooking satisfaction. In all situations, care is needed. May Allah accept it as an act of Ibaadah for us all... Maa Salaam!!! 1 Like |

Kagarko: Pardon me ooooooo bro. I no sabi english ooo. But I think Kagarko was right to say "knowledge shared is Invaluable". It means in "Money can not buy" or simply put, priceless. In my opinion, valuable wont do justice to knowledge shared, unless you qualify it with "highly -". I think that looks more like it. May Allah grant us his mercy and understanding. Maa Salaam Bros... 1 Like |

As human-beings, sane individuals and guided muslims, we are not obliged to respond to all hate-comments especially those made against our religion. Most of all these comments are born out of ignorance most of the times. To make it worse, the ignorant think that they know all. It would just be fine not to dignify the ignorants with a response. However, we could pity them for their lack of guidance and pray Allah guides them to the right path. If anyone calls your act of worship to your lord as "Slavery". Trust me, such person is right, even though he doesnt know it. Afterall, one of the best names anyone could ever bear is Abdullah - "Slave of Allah". So, my brethren, do NOT b offended. Its part of the test. Remember... Whenever anyone tries to provoke you in Ramadan, just tell him "I AM FASTING". ... and Allah Ta'ala knows best. NB: Proffdada, i urge you to address people sanely, maturely and with respect. Be guided accordingly! Peace!! 3 Likes 2 Shares |
