Buhari told pure and white lines about the treasury that Gej handed over to him. How on earth can Buhari one chance president say that he met empty treasury? That was frivolous of him to say because all the monies he has been using to travel to different countries are never his. It is from Nigerians treasury. How come he met empty treasury thren? This man is callous and wicked. He just want to continue to rubbish Gej' s regime because he does not know how to rule or what steps to take in governance. Buhari should resign on old age He seems to have retrogressive brain.

It seems you have a problem understanding very simple grammar. He said he met 'a virtually empty treasury'. And, do you think Nigeria will be that broke that the president will not be able to move about? Even if you hate, do it with sense.

A leader is supposed to inspire confidence and not preach doom.

You can never hear Obama say the US is broke even though that Nation has been operating a deficit since Clinton left office with over $16 trillion dollars in debt and climbing.
If Obama even showed a little hesitation about the US economy the stock markets will crash and the dollar will turn to useless paper overnight. Rather what you get from Obama is encouragement of economic growth and recovery.

Buhari should borrow a leaf from Alan Greenspan, who served as the head of the US Treasury and who is credited with GreenSpeak, which is a form of speaking without giving out any negative or sensitive information and wrapped up in optimism.

But we know why he is shouting that the treasury is empty because part of his agreement with Obama for US support in the last election was to steer Nigeria back to the dollar and the only way this can be guaranteed is once we take a juicy fat IMF loan that will leave us bonded to western bankers for the next 40yrs.

You just wait and see Buhari send an IMF loan proposal to the National Assembly for ratification and approval.

Buhari should go and study Alan Greenspan on how he presented fiscal and economic outlooks and projections

Fedspeak
In monetary policy of the United States, the term Fedspeak (also known as Greenspeak) is what Alan Blinder called "a turgid dialect of English" used by Federal Reserve Board chairmen in making wordy, vague, and ambiguous statements. The strategy, which was used most prominently by Alan Greenspan, was used to prevent financial markets from overreacting to the chairman's remarks.

The coinage is an intentional parallel to Newspeak of Nineteen Eighty-Four, a novel by George Orwell.[5]

Fedspeak when used by Alan Greenspan is often called Greenspeak. An alternative definition of Greenspeak is "The coded and careful language employed by U.S. Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan."

Edwin le Heron and Emmanuel Carre state that "Nowadays, 'Fedspeak’ (Bernanke, 2004) means clear and extensive communication of the Fed’s action."Chairman Ben Bernanke and Chairwoman Yellen have effected a major change in Fed communication policy departing from the obfuscation that characterized the previous three decades. In 2014 a new detailed level of Fed communication was dubbed Fedspeak 3.0

What is the basis of your allegations? Do you really think PMB will take an IMF loan blindly? Be reasonable.

Another thing I will assure you is that President Buhari will not engage in blatant deception a.k.a 'Greenspeak' - a man's word is his bond. The contradictions between Greenspan's philosophy and his actions led to many key failures over his career such as his refusal to send examiners into banks to check out reports that their books were full of so-called liars’ loans. In the event such loans all but wiped out the U.S. banking system, and proved particularly toxic and resulted in huge losses for the nations strongest banks.

In fact Bill Black, a former US financial regulator in his own words called Greenspan the biggest and most dangerous fool in American financial history.

Yet this is the person you ask President Buhari to emulate? You must be kidding.
