Why would he be doing this with the backing of the presidency? You do realize that the Senate needs to be in session in order to confirm the ministerial list? How will Buhari be expected to keep running his government without ministers? You do realize that he promised to hit the ground running?

So what happens to governance now that the Senate is going on recess? Are they also going to collect full-month salary this month and next?

I suspect foul play here. I suspect that PMB and Saraki are working hand in hand. It was PMB that invited the senators to a meeting that gave Saraki the opportunity to become the SP. Nigerians are angry about the delay of ministerial appointments and now senate setting is adjourned till 21st of July, this is to help PMB to continue the delay without accusations.
PMB must have told Saraki to go against the party and adjourned for a month to divert attention from from PMB to Saraki. My opinion anyway

For your information, the Presidency is fully behind Saraki. And for those of you shouting where will the president submit ministerial list, let it be known to your dull brains that there is no ministerial list anywhere. The president is yet to compile any list and the presidency will be very happy with what has happened at the floor of the Senate because it will be a ready excuse as to why the ministerial list is not out.
