Letter To My President. by PStacks(m): 6:32pm On Jun 27, 2015
Ok Guys.. This is My own Letter to my Executive
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
"Muhammadu Okechukwu Ogbuagu Abraham
Lincoln Buhari"
Somebody should please be Magnanimous
enough to help me post it and make sure it
gets to Him.
Dear sir, I am not writing to convey any
congratulatory message on your well deserved
victory in the just concluded Elections that
usherd you into Power to assume your rightfull
and long over-due position.
I'm not writing you because its the in-thing
people just wake up, take a pen and write you a
letter for the fun of it.
I am not writting you as a publicity stunt either
I'm not writting because I'm an unrepentant
hardcore unapologetic fan of Muhammadu
Buhari, its clear for every one to see you are
the people's General, little wonder you are
loved by the overwhelming majority
I'm not writing you as a psychophant singing
your praises only because you assumed power.
I'm not writing you expecting any financial
benefit in return.
I am writting you because I believe in this your
Ordained Administration.
I am writing you because I believe #Change is
here
I am writing you because I'm an ordinary
Nigerian concerned about the progress of
Nigeria.
I am writing you because I believe you are the
Messiah to take us to the Promise land.
Nigeria a land so blessed flowing with milk and
Honey but bad leadership has plunged the
destiny of this country almost to ground zero.
I am writing you because of the renewed hope
and vigor aroused in every Nigerian May 29th
when you assumed office.
I am writing you because I fall in the category
of "Everybody" which you said you belonged to
as I quote that Historic speech "I Belong to
Everybody and belong to Nobody"
Since I have life, I don't believe I'm a nobody, I
believe I fall in the category of "Everybody"
just like most other ordinary Nigerians like
myself.
I am writting you because Leadership has
changed so also followership must #change.
Sir, I believe you are capable to deal with all
those corrupt leaders, especially those in
Political offices, You have said you would look
even deep down to administration even to the
Local government Level.
I would be glad if you curb or totally Check-
mate the Excesses of our Senators
Governors
Representatives
Local government chairmen
Ministers of the federal Republic and all other
top Government functioneries.
Sir, I believe if all of these are taken care of,
60% of Nigerian problems would have been
solved.
I'm so elated writing you sir, because I believe
you are the "People's General"
Walking with the People is wÀlking with God!
When you walk with God, you can't fail as its
often said, the voice of the People is the voice
of GoÐ.
Sir, I'm writting because I believe you are the
messiah to take NEPA to over 20,000
MEgaWatts from the poor 1300 MegaWatts GEJ
left it,
Sir, I am writing because I believe you are the
one to turn around our Petroleum sector and
our chief source of national income.
Sir I believe you are the one to reposition
NNPC, only Yesterday I read in the papers you
dissolved the governing council of the NNPC
board. What a laudable feat.
What an "Ogbuagu" you are! The Lion Killer
Himself. The Killer of Corruption.
Sir, I am writing believing that, as a retired
Army General, Security in this country is a
forgone and settled issue.
Sir, I am writting because I believe you are a
magician with a Magic wand you'l just wield and
turn the fortunes of this great Nation around.
Sir, I'm writing because I believe you have
come to awaken the Nigerian spirit and place
her on the globe as the Giant and economic
power house of Africa.
The Nigerian Spirit is indeed a Giant I must
confess!
Sir, I am writing because I believe you are the
choosen one to bring succor and relieve to our
land.
Sir, haven said all of these, the people brought
you to power sir. You can't afford to betray
their mandate.
This #Change must be instilled in each and
every Nigerian through Social-Reforms.
I believe at this time sir, National Orientation
nd re-orientation over and over again is partly
what you owe the people for a desired change
and approach to issues.
The people know what is right to do, but you
must constantly instil and remind them it
doesn't hurt any Nigerian to do the Right thing.
Sir, I believe if there are equal level playing
opportunities, I believe a majority of the
populace would succumb to what is right!
Sir, I believe through the National Orientation
Agency we can properly drum to our ears as
Nigerians what is the right thing at the right
time at all times through every form of social
medium available in the 3 major Nigerian
languages even to the most Remote locality in
our dear country through Radio, TV, print and
electronic mediums.
Cohession and National integration. National
Unity, to foster peace and stability is what I
believe you owe the people.
This time more than ever sir, you need all
National Orientation Agencies to come alive to
this dispensation.
Discipline and decorum and sanity must be
restored to our polity with sincerity of purpose
driven by passion for Excellence.
People must have proper orientations.
People must know as little as not to drink
satchet water and throw the satchet in such a
way to litter the place.
People must know you don't walk into a bank
and jump the que, people must be orderly and
follow due process, people must obey the law,
at all times sinked in their subconscious
through these orientation agencies.
Sir, I believe all of Nigerian mentality under
past administrations needs to be corrected by
massive scale re-orientation over and time
again.
People must know you don't intimidate or
upress their fellow Nigerian because you are a
little above on the social strata.
People must shorn every form of recklessness
National integration must be encouraged for
mutual coexistence. People must be their
brothers keepers. People must love and not
hate. People must be tolerant of other people's
religion.
People must imbibe good virtues.
Hard work and merit must be rewarded and
illegality punished.
Corruption is not as big a monster as we think
it is.
It starts with the people.
If the people do the right things everyday, then
our national life would be the pride and envy
of other african countries and the world at
large.
Sir, I am writing because a country where able
bodied youth willing to work have nothing to
do, then they become menace to the society.
I am writing because unemployment is a time
bomb ticking, but for your timely intervention,
the bomb might have gone off.
Sir, in my little wisdom, I think all these old
pot-bellied semi-illitrate Police officers with
barely primary 6 certificate should be retired
and settled to very large hecters of Farm
Settlement around the 6 geo-political zones of
the country.
No denying the fact, we Must go back to
agriculture. I'm not reminding you what large
massive scale agriculture can augument and
even overtake proceeds from Crude oil.
Let all these old people from Civil service,
Police, custom, army, Navy. Airforce and other
top govenrment agencies revive the
agricultural revolution of this country,
Let the youths be absorbed into the
mainstream economy to make the National
Economy Vibrant and buoyant
No gain saying the Youths must be empowered,
but in a country where people have served
more than 30 years in service or passed the
mandatory 65 years retirement age but sit
tight is abuse of office hereby leaving many
youths stranded cos they can't be absorbed into
the main stream.
Sir, I believe Politics should be more like
philanthropic gestures and not what you get
paid for.
Political office holders must realise its a
priviledge to serve the people.
Political office musnt be by force do or die.
Political office should be only for those with
genuine interest to serve the people and not
what they would make for their pocket.
I believe politicians should be orientated at
looking very carefully what they can do for
their country rather than what their country
can do for them.
I believe as a politician, its a choice you made
from your free will to serve the people.
I believe your service to the people as a
politicain shouldn't come at an extra cost to the
people, You can't claim to be serving the
people and collect 9Billion naira from the
people's tax money just for clothing yourself
alone when majority of the people are down
trodden and have no cloths.
You had cloths before choosing to serve, why
then fleece the people wardrobe allowance.
Its simple, misplacement of priorities.
Sir, To get our acts right in this country, we
must set our priorities right.
The people are the ones serving the politicians
and not the politicians serving the people. Sir,
this Trend must be reversed sir.
Sir as I earlier postulated, I believe right now is
the time to bring an end to this once and for all
in the spirit of #Change you promised this
great country.
I have always believed Nigerians are the
problem with Nigeria and Nigerians are the
ones to solve the problem with nigeria.
Nigeria must Fix herself cos aint nobody gon fix
it for us.
Sir! I am writing you because I'm looking
forward in excitement and anticipation of how
you'l turn the wheels of fortune of this great
country around.
Sir, I'm writing you because your detrectors
and critics are there waiting for your first single
wrong move and I'm glad you've given them
nothing to yap about so far. Please keep that up
sir.
Every single move you've made has been
splendid and commendable to me since you
assumed office.
Sir, I'm writing you because I believe in you
and I believe you can not let us down as a
Nation.
Sir, I am writing you because you are the last
hope of the common man.
Sir, I am writing you because I believe under
your administration, this country must be great
again.
Sir, I'm writing you to atleast contribute my
own little quota to this #chage we so desire.
Finally sir. I'm writing you to inform you of my
full fled unwaivering and unconditional support
to this your Admistration of National unity. I'm
writing you to let you know that the people are
solidly behind you sir.
I'm writing you to let you know that we are
ready to emrace #Change in totality
I'm writing you because I believe under your
administration you would set startegic vision
and pace that our country would be the country
we all desire, That same country flowing with
milk and honey.
A country that supports the defenseless and
the helpless and the most vulnurable.
A country that watches over her own
A Country that would be self sustaining, export
and not import dependent
A Country of Great People, Great Nation with
proud citizens to hold their head high any part
of the globe.
I'm believing you could change international
perception of Nigeria.
Nigerians Break records in Oxford, in
Cambridge, in Harvard, in colombia, in
Massachucettes and just all around the globe in
different endeavours.
Charity they say begins at home.
Sir I'm writing you to inform you that, come
what may, we must overcome.
On a Final Note sir.. I hear Obama is scheduled
to Host you In Washingthon on 20th of July. I'm
already excited and looking forward to the
prospects of the First American Black President
meeting with the President of the Most
Populous Black-Nation. History and time would
sure be fair to such a Meeting.
I look forward to you settling once and for all
the issues bothering on National and Regional
Security. I wish you a safe journey to and From
America #Obama4Mankind #Buhari4UsAll.
Sincerely from my heart, I wish you and all well
meaning Nigerians all the best in this our Quest
to Make Nigeria a Better Place.
On the last note sir.. Please #Baba don't forget
the #5000 Naira you promised us, it would go a
long way in helping my situation.
God Bless the Good People and The Executive
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Retired General Muhammadu Okechukwu
Abraham Lincoln Ogbuagu Buhari.
Butter flies are in my Stomach sir.
You make me Euphoric and raise the hair on
the back of my palm.
The Goose pimples from the joy I felt May
29th has refused to subside.
Consolidate on your Status as a #LivingLegend
sir!
Time and Posterity would sure be fair to you
sir. Already your Names are in the Good Books
of Time. You can Do more Sir! No amount of
Good is ever too much sir.
May your Reign bring Tremendous Prosperity
and wealth to our Land.
Yours Faithfully. A Devoted Nigerian and your
Compatriot.. ""
A Buhari Wanna Be.
I promise you sir, I would Name My First Son
#Buhari
#ConcernedCitizen.
#TeamGMBStandUp.
