Rather than saying BSc Mathematics/Physics, he separated them. I had 2nd Class Upper Mathetics/Computer Science. It will be deceitful of me to say I had 2 2nd class upper bachelor's degrees.
Impressive CV. Wish him all the best

it is not any difficult for Nigerians because we are more ambitous than they are. They are lazy all round.

these are the kind of brains that should be harnessed and kept in research centers...if nigeria was a normal country a guy like this and many others who are working in shell, chevron and mobil should be working for the government...creating new innovations and solving technological problems in the country in the area of military, agriculture, aero space engineering, and also oil and gas(if only our NNPC can grow some sense)...

our government is so useless that brains like this are allowed to waste away engaging in stereotype jobs or lecturing in our dead schools where strikes are the order of the day...

we have so much resources but we are retrogressing at the speed of light... angry angry angry angry
Wait a minute...if I got you right, you're saying it's wastage for a genius to lecture in 'our dead schools'? Really? Pray, tell me... how then would the education sector be revamped?

right now our schools are trash...strike ridden schools..remember if our schools improve then comprehensive research programmes can be carried out to solve immediate problems bedeviling our country...right now as it is our educational system would kill such brains...reason why many resort to pulling strides abroad than here in nigeria...

if our schools are dead and trash, how then will the schools come back to life if you take living brains and hide them in a research centre?

Dont common sense tell you that if this guy goes into the school system as a lecturer one day he will get to a position where he will bring transformation into the system.

Those countries u people always run to,were not like this some years ago. Their transformation came because someone cared.

Do you really care? How have you in anyway contributed in making your environment a better place? Blame game never pays

good question dear! What that guy wrote will show you how his brain works...

The problem of many NIGERIANS is that they enjoy making pointless point just to be heard...

those countries smart people run to became actual grounds for innovation for such individuals...the environment abroad fosters learning and progress...the Nigerian version encourages backwardness and wickedness...this is a country where the government is not ready to improve our educational system..a country where the V.C's embezzle funds right left center like politicians..a country where senior lecturers wont allow for the growth of young smart students simply because they are afraid that these young ones might become better than them and probably start creating new grounds...

Nigeria is a sick country my brother...a very sick one...that boy had better run abroad if not he would simply lecture, earn a paltry salary and suffer strikes... angry angry angry

You haven't even attempted to answer the question. HOW THEN WOULD THE EDUCATION SECTOR BE REVAMPED? If the brains are kept away, how would the decaying system be salvaged?

When the top is ready to fix the systemic error...

Award grants for ground breaking research and see if great folks won't apply.

Even if they're far away, they will find means of coming back. That's the power of motivation.

Things will get better when the right things are in place. Right now, there's a systemic error in our educational sector...
