My story goes like this, its brief;

So,I entered this bus from here to there in Lagos and just like they use to be scattered in the bus, they collected their loots row after row. I was already steaming hot. Two robbers by my side with their guns and the 3 at the back seat giving orders, including the driver n two pairs.

Like whtt u see in the movies ,I let tthe devil out of me. I struck the two with guns on their wind pipe n they dropped. I picked the first cougar magnum and blast the driver's head on his windscreen. At this moment, the three guys behind just dey stab stab me with dagger wey no dey enter, nah so I turn come dash the first guy slap, the jaw dislocate (ahSwear!grin),I use my knuckle rumple the 2nd guy to coma, the 3rd guy just dey beg.
Meanwhile, the ttwo passengers fr fronnt don run as I blast the driver.

And so,tht was how how all passengers started hailing n clapping fr me.

The annoying part be say I come wake up frm this kind sweet dream.

this is the kind of thing that happens to you when 90 percent of the numbers on your phone belong to ganja sellers.

MINE WAS THAT GOD SAVED ME. JUST GOT JOB WITH MY STATE GOVERNMENT IN 2011 AND I WAS STILL BEING PAID CASH NOT E-PAYMENT YET. I WAS GOING TO COLLECT MY SALARY. BOARDED A KEKE AROUND HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY JUNCTION IN OWERRI. A GUY WITH NYLON BAG WAS ALREADY IN THE KEKE ONE WOMAN DRESSED LIKE SOMEONE MOURNING AND I JOINED THEM. IMMEDIATELY WE MOVED THE KEKE DRIVER STARTED TALKING ABOUT CRISES AT DOUGLAS ROAD AND SOMEONE HAS BEEN BEEN KILLED. THEY ALL STARTED TALKING BUT I KEPT CALM. THE GUY THAT CAME WITH THE KEKE GUY TOLD THEM HE NARROWLY ESCAPED BECAUSE HE WENT TO CHANGE MONEY FOR OYIBO IN ALL SEASON'S HOTEL AND THE MONEY IS WHAT HE WAS CARRYING. THEY WERE PRAISING HIM FOR ESCAPING AND EMPHASIZING ON THE MONEY. HNMMM, I BEGIN COVER MYSELF WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS BECAUSE MY INSTINCT TOLD ME SOMETHING WAS WRONG. THEY TRIED ALL TO MAKE ME CONTRIBUTE IN THEIR DISCUSSION BUT I ACTED DUMB. THEY PASSENGERS DROPPED BEFORE ME AND I HID TO KNOW THEIR WAKA. THE KEKE MAN WENT BACK AND PICKED ALL OF THEM AGAIN. grin

Back in 2003, I hit Lagos with my cousin's wife (not wife then) without any premonition of imminent danger. While at Ojota, I decided to see her off to the rest of her journey, my destination was mile 12 and hers was Mile 2.
We boarded a bus that clearly called Oshodi but to our surprise the bus refused to take Oshodi route on getting to Anthony. This made me to raise alarm and that was the last time I saw something funny. The next thing we heard was a talk with an abrupt asperity saying what I cannot recall now. We started to cower as we heard the asperity in their voice.
We were later dispossessed of all our belongings. We were three passengers and the third passenger happened to be a LASU final year student, who just collected her money to pay her school fees, project, and other things.
When they pushed us out at Fadeyi, I became inert for sometime before recovering. As for the girl who was the most robbed, in a paroxysm of insanity, she screamed and every sympathisers that came worried about what to do about her. On our way to the next under bridge, we saw a police check point, and we reported the ordeal we encountered. We descry their licence plate as "AK 1940 UY". The police told us that it was fake since the number was the old one.
Our mendicancy later earned us money from public spirited Nigerians and just when we were about to board a bus back to our various destinations, a man who drove in one car I cannot descry the style of the car, lifted my cousin's wife and the other girl. I headed to my Mile 12
.
So many ordeals I encountered that night. The difference between hearing ones story and seeing it is immense.
Since then a scowl has been my nonverbal response to strangers. Living in a crime-filled city like Lagos will turn anyone into a nervous misanthrope.
This is an ill wind that blows nobody good. Irrespective of your strength, you cannot do anything to stultify them. They are indiscriminate and have no pattern for choosing their victims. Interesting seeing how some people ignorantly boast that they can contain those devil incarnate robbers, who chase money under any banner.

Pkele OP. I have this thing in me that warns me as soon as there is danger. its intuition. Mine is sharp and I listen to it. But one has to be calm and focused to sense it. If your mind says dont then dont! So far so good I have not encountered them.
Once again pkele
i have similar instinct even when i look at people

Just barely two months ago ,a friend boarded a bus-(a Coaster bus) going to Volks from mile2,half way to the journey the evil men brought out gun and drugged all of them ,from his narration they were actually RItualist

luckily for the guy they pushed him down on the basis that the driver complained that he didn't like the guy face. When managed to come back with the help of "good Nigerian"he ended up sleeping for almost three days non-stop due to the drug effect.
so Nigerians are endangered species now

I witnessed it

u do not believe in charms?

I once saw a man get struck with cutlass yet nothing happened

I was washing when I saw a man in the backyard, in the next instant he wasn't there

he is a notorious cultist

Wow, this is the first time one who witnessed it would tell me the story. Most stories on charms are hearsay. Thanks. Though I'll like to witness one myself.

Check your facts well before you mislead people here. Banks did not accept the idea and it has been since stopped. Though it was used once in a state in US before it was stopped.

not sure of nigeria dats why i said not sure how it's programmed here, dont know if it's been stopped recently though..it wasnt in one state sir, neither was it only in the us..incessant gun point robberies and other things at the atms made them initiate it,a problem we dont have in nigeria,at least not yet

I don't have any personal experience and I pray not to.
This happened to the landlord of the house I stay. My landlord also happens to be an estate agent. On this fateful day he collected house rents of two apartments. He went to a bank with the aim to deposit the sum as was the custom but on getting to the bank there was so much queue so he decided to leave that particular bank to another bank in town as he also wanted to do his BVN registration then. So he flagged down a cab going to town. In the cab were two male passengers, one at the front with the driver and one at the back. My landlord got in the back of the vehicle. During the course of the journey a discussion ensued. The topic of discourse was about the just concluded governorship election that held in the state. "Mr. A has the rightful mandate, no no it's Mr. B". My landlord joined in this discussion and that was the last thing he knew. He said he woke up in a bush. The guys showed him dug graves and threatened that they could have him killed and buried there without anybody knowing. He came back home so ruffled up and he said the house rent he had on him had been dispossessed. He reported the case to the police and police said they had several cases like that. That since he didn't take down the registration of the vehicle that nothing could be done.
I think the lesson taught here is to try as much as possible not to engage in conversations with strangers in public cabs.
This happens a lot in Abuja. They will draw u into conversation and once u show interest, that's all. I entered one like that when I was going to church but thank God they couldn't draw me into their conversation despite all their tactics. They dropped me off at one junction like that telling me that they had to turn back. Them c say if na my case, market no sell. It was God at work for me sha

Mine happened in PH, Aba Road. I entered a cab with a man claiming to be a house boy in possession of stolen dollars from his master.

The driver, suggestion to we three passengers, that we go somewhere and share the money. But I declined and dropped off at my destination.

Two years later, I encountered the same gang in Abuja, trying the same old trick.
