Now the really interesting thing about this is that, it is an innovation by teens, you heard right, TEENS! Kudos to the spectacular trio: Daanyaal Ali, 14, Muaz Nawaz, 13 and Chirag Shah, 14 of Isaac Newton Academy, Essex, UK for this wonderful innovation. And guess what? The innovation won them healthcare category award at the recently concluded Teen Tech Awards. The condoms are said to change color based on the particular STD involved, green for Chlamydia, purple for Genital Warts, blue for Syphilis and yellow for Herpes. The award winning innovation seems to be already gaining ground as a contraceptive company has shown interest in developing the concept.
