State of Residence of course! Any Biafrans will prefer this to selling of fake products: wandering like a dog lost in the wilderness to enjoy their businesses in another people's land and still claiming marginalization

State of Origin for me any day. Nigeria is a country of many ethnic Nationalities. What we need is a federating system. State of Residence won't and cannot work in a country like Nigeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina etc. In fact, state of residence will not stop the fact that one is a non indigen in a particular area and one is not. It can only work when the individual concerned is of the same ethnic stock of the people within the state he resides though being from another state.

a people who claim Israel as their origin certainly don't have origin. They will surely vote for residence. Only slave have state of residence.

its where you can claim your ancestral roots which is important to all africans. State of origin anyday anytime!

I would have said state of residence, but the way things are going in this Country whereby an outsider will be allowed to settle in a place and after sometime he invites his brothers. From there, they dominate the whole place and even try to displace their Host. They can even be taking the quota from the land of settlement and also from there Original state of Origin. Some even terrorize their host.( This is Common with Hausa/ Fulani)

For these reasons, I will only Support state of Origin.

As long as state of residence is tied to where you work and pay local taxes, I would prefer it.

State of origin is d best,and am from ondo state.dia is no way an hausa or ibo can b an ondo state indigene,just d way a yoruba man cant b an indigene of kano or anambra
