THIS IS LIFE

Looking back at those times while we are still a kid, those times when all we can do is mumble and make unrealistic wishes. Those early part of our life where our battle is fought by our loved ones. Then, we are the ''king of the roost and boss of the backyard''. We eat to stupour and play till we are worned out, we felt love, our mother is always there to soothe our wounds. At the snap of our finger dad will get us the flying plane. Those times, life seems too good to be true, it looks easy and problem free because our loved ones has got our back.
Then we stepped out, the adventure of life begins. Sooner than we've started did we realise that life isnt close to what we thought it would be. We see parent drop their wards off from a luxurious vehicle, while we are thinking of a shortcut we can ply back after closing from school. Then we thought to ourself ''life isnt fair.'' The truth is ''it has never been.'' This is life.
We start given it meaning, a coin,of which one can spend it any way as one wishes, but can only be spent once. A powerful play, where we've got to contribute a verse.
We savored the sweetness of victory, later we are vanguished and know too well the bitter taste of defeat. We are overwhelmed with Joy that we thought we couldn't contain it, later we are overwrought with sorrow that one believed he could not bear another moment of it. We enjoyed Abundance where we felt no person or circumstance could even take away our worldly possessions. We later lost all our wordly possessions and been humbled by destitution.
Our loved ones who did promise us heaven and earth we turn to for rescue. To our suprise, they never meant any of those words. In short, they 've all got their own fish to fry.
And so we sojourn, we have to keep walking else we would be trampled on. We came across men who want everything for themselves, and men who wants nothing but that others will be happy. We make friends, some we trust, others we are learning how to lean on them. Then the unimaginable unveils, ''a sleep that no one can wake'' to those we know and those we've never meet. We are hurt, but who do we blame,? who do we question?, Who do we sue? Him whose foot step is never heard? Him whose club never misses or Him who can never be seen? THIS IS LIFE.
As times goes on, we learn to accept things as they are, We get to know more about fate, that our future and life on earth depends on so many things but solely on we ourselves, we get to know that there is more to life than just existing, but to live and by living we must give, that the first work of men on earth is to find his reason for living, without which he/she isnt fit to live,we learnt to watch, work and pray as each days is full of evil,we realize that if we are to enjoy life, then we must live just like a kid (who believe anything is possible, who believe there is iota of goodness in every man,who always have reasons to smile, who forgives easily as though he has never been hurt, who will share his supper with whom he's just fought). We learn to trust our convinction. All we need do is Hope, hope that things will turn for the good. Hope that the future will be better than the past.
Brethren, this is life and i hope it treats you well,i hope it treats us well. I hope we would go back to where we came from someday and tell them the tales of our sojourn, that we are ''Good to the last drop'' despite all what life poses.
