The source of the silly article is an obscure mews medium,The Mail! Further, it is amazing the kind of silly comments by some nairalanders who are either mischievous or ignorant! How can Governors travel on this trip with 10 aides each? Very illogical! For sure, the era of profligacy is gone with PMB in charge! I will rather wait for correct info on the matter from a more credible source before making an informed comment |

Also is the new PDP apologists plan to basically make up reasons to complain about everything Buhari does or doesnt do Most of the time you'll see that once that bogus complain is busted they just walk away from it and jump on the next bullshit. Im sure even they arent delsional enough to actually beleive their own bullshit (well some of them are i guess) so its kinda pointless trying to even address their attitude. Brother, you deserve a National Medal! |

How did the slowpoke that wrote this report arrive at the N2.2 billion Naira figure. Children of hate smearing the good President at every opportunity they can find. |

This will bring the total number of Nigerians on this visit with President Buhari to about 229, being the biggest Presidential delegation in Nigerian democratic history. Jesus............. |

229 for 2.2 Billion naira? Lets say their expenditure is as extravagant as below; - The 229 people will sleep in the $10,000-a-night presidential suite each at the Waldorf-Astoria for 3 days = $2,290,000 - Their food ($1500 for 3 day each)= $343,500 - A Boeing 737 business jet (Nigerian presidential jet) costs less than $100,000 for a full fuel tank. = $200,000 (to and fro) - Pocket money, 1000 each= $229,000 The President will be housed and fed by U.S. government for the 3-day trip, so no accommodation or food expenses for Buhari. Total= $3,062,500 which is 609,437,500 Naira (approx. 609.44 million Naira. In a normal situation the cost will be far less than 300 million Naira. Someone will pocket far more than 1.6 Billion naira! The 2.2 Billion naira allocated for this trip is pure looting. Buhari is no different from Jonathan. |

phyllosilicate: They weren't mathematical and didn't say exactly this or that did they? They said average meaning depending on whatever phantom portfolio you're supposed to be carrying it may be more of if your being there is unexplainable like bubu's son less so 229 is a fair approximation |

BraniacX:haba bros, I hope you are not among those that hate mathematics? If one say 32 people have an average of 10 aides. It means the total number of aides are 32 multiplied by 10. Which equals 320. So how did they arrived at 229?. This proves that the author don't know what he is saying. |

According to one report which you people were quick to believe Jonathan's 20 trips in 2012 cost the nation #3.3 billion but Buhari is spending #2.2 billion on just one trip alone and you are here making noise. When the cost of Buhari's trip to Chad, Ethiopia and West Germany are made known you will know your frugal and 'cost saving' president na wayo pesin. |
