which is better? IMO PC games are cheap and you can install for as low as 150 naira but building one can be pretty expensive, while console is cheaper but games range from 9000-25000 depending on the title, which is better?

Personally I prefer the console gaming to the pc gaming. More comfortable to use, don't have to start worrying about ram space,making sure you install the right drivers and all that shit. I feel its more stressful than the console.

PC games might be cheaper, but the PC itself certainly isn't. I'll go with the console, I don't have to think about upgrading my hardware, when my hardware will be able to play any game made for it.

it depends, eg, wen it comes to graphics pc, wins outrite, cheap games; d pc also wins. In d aspect price, console carries d day, but in d long run, if u can afford a gamin pc, u will be beta off. Personaly i prefer pc gamin wit xbox controller if not for those awesome sony ps exclusives.

Actually, if you've got a high end gaming PC, you'll be amazed by the graphics you can get. The graphics for GTA V on PC are just crazy. Plus, the PC fans do like to get their mods on - I'll give them that.

Wow! That's pretty good to know!

I prefer console gaming. The technical issues with PC gaming can be frustrating. RAM size requirement, GPU requirement, video/audio card requirement of PC games vary and your PC may not be equipped enough for some of these games. I "ll rather get a console where i fully guarantees smooth gaming experience without having to worry about laggy gameplay or choppy sound. Away from home i may consider PC(laptop), but otherwise, it is console all the way.

there's a cheap HD solution currently being worked on by AMD, I know in the past they had heat issues etc but they've seriously seriously upgraded. It's called AMD Carrizo a10 APU and the high end ones comes with an AMD r7 graphics which can run even GTA V on medium settings. The laptop should cost about $400-700 depending on the PC manufacturer, Naira don fall and I dey vex

yeah he's right, the only problem is that some PC have weak gpu and only play games in low settings, High end gaming beasts like Asus republic of gamers, Alienware etc would bring any gaming title to it's knees, when playing Ryse son of Rome on ps4, it would look like child's play when compared to an Alienware side by side

the console games give developers excess cash that's why they sometimes make mediocre games for PC, I still enjoy the keyboard and mouse gaming on PC notwithstanding

although i do game a lot on d pc and i don't own a console, if you really want to enjoy gaming in this century u had better get both cos trust me even if u own a perfect gaming pc dere's always d problem of poor optimization & bad console port of games e.g batman arkham Knight, nfs rival e.t. c, ur pc not meeting with d game's requirements forcing u to play at a lower setting, but when d games are well optimized and ur pc meets the game requirements trust it beats any console, and on pc game titles are cheap to get if u are buying and easy to get if you stealing, and u don't have to upgrade ur rig every 4-6yrs, a mad pc built in 2010 can still play most of 2015 game's, while d only drawback in console is just d cost of game titles and d console being obsolete in d nxt 4yrs when a new one comes out to replace it.

Your drawback for the console is actually the same drawback for the PC. Unless, you really invested some serious money into your PC, you could run into the obsolete drawback in less than 3 years. You've forgotten that the PS2 lasted almost 13 years, in fact the changes between the previous generation (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) are not as drastic as the changes in the current gen (PS4, Xbox One, Wii U), especially when compared to the jump from PS2 to PS3 or the PS1 to the PS2. I remember the first glimpse I saw for the PS2, it was on the Official Playstation Magazine & it was a picture of Lara Croft's eye - I was amazed, it felt like a huge step. We went from the polygon and clunky madness that was PS1 to a smoother polygon clunky madness. Then PS3 happened, we could actually see photorealistic people, they looked like us. Cinematics that looked like actual films. With the PS4 & Xbox One, they've got more space to play with, filled it more slightly photorealistic people and a bunch of cinematics that look like grade A Hollywood blockbusters (see the Halo Masterchief Collection, Microsoft thought they were making movies with those scenes). I don't see the PS3 dying too soon yet*.

*Sony stopped making games for the PS1 in March 2006, less than a year before the PS3 was released. The last official game released on PS2 was FIFA 14 in Brazil. If we are going by previous Sony logic, then PS3 should stop being produced at least 12 years after its initial release - November 2018. Although, Sony did announce they'd give it at least 10 years, so it might all come to an end by next year.

I'm currently an owner of the PS2, PS3 & Xbox 360. I didn't get my PS3 until the slim came out, plus at the time Sony messed up with the EU release of the PS3, so I was still pissed off at them. Then I got my 360 'cause I wanted to play Assassins Creed & I was still pissed off at Sony (this might have been 2006-2008, I can't remember). I only finally got my PS3 slim in 2010/11, I was less pissed with Sony by then and the pre-owned slim had reduced to £200 (haven't touched my 360 since then). I'm usually very patient. I'm always happy to wait for a better deal. The only reason I've been rather angsty to get a PS4 is for certain exclusives (like Uncharted 4) and I really want to play The Witcher 3. Plus, the fact I test games on the current gen platform, also doesn't help. There are games I've spent a good deal of time looking for, only to discover that they are not available on the PS3, they're only available as digital downloads (which usually means full price. PSN UK can be a downright bastard), or they aren't available yet (different developers different ports, see Mortal Kombat X).

Dynasty Warrors 8: Empires practically looks the same on the previous gen and current gen. The developers for that one are just lazy, infact there are times the thing can give off a PS2 vibe during active gameplay. I don't think they've actually changed much at all, in general for the whole Dynasty Warriors franchise. There's a reason why exclusives like the original God of War games look fantastic on the PS2 or the Uncharted trilogy look fantastic on the PS3. The developers know how those consoles work. You can't blame the console, when the third party developer don't seem to understand the console better (they always seem to understand the Xbox 360, Xbox One & PC better maybe it's the fact that they use PCs to make games & Microsoft technically runs all of them). See Sleeping Dogs that had almost 1GB patch for the PS3 and a few megabytes worth for the 360...this patch was released a day after the game was released. Meaning the developers/publishers went gold with shoddy material.

You nailed it, I still prefer PC gaming tho, I can't fork out 8-25k just for a game, I have a PS Vita and I regret it cos of the expensive nature of the Cartridge
