If you have just typed a document in Microsoft Word and you need to save it, here are some ways to do that.

1. Click on File. From the drop down menu, click on Save. Give your document a name and then save.

2. Alternatively, you can easily hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and press the letter 's' key. Give your document a name and then save.

3. After typing, click on Close, the X at the upper right corner of your screen. A dialogue box will appear asking if you want to save changes to your document. Click on yes, then give your document a name and save.

Feel free to add any other ways which you think you can save a document in Microsoft Word.
