US Visit: Sodomy remains against our law, Buhari tells Obama.

The Presidency has revealed that when President Muhammadu Buhari met Barrack Obama, during his 4-day working visit to the United States of America, the latter suggested Nigeria repeals her law against same-sex marriage.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina disclosed this on Wednesday via his twitter handle, explaining that Buhari rejected the suggestion, stating that sodomy remains against the law of Nigeria and abhorrent to the culture of her people.

before the trip, Adesina had provided the itinerary of the President’s 4-day US trip.

In s press statement released last Wednesday, the Presidential spokesperson stated emphatically that Buhari’s talks with Obama would only focus on security, trade and economic ties.

According to Adesina, “Topmost on the agenda of President Buhari’s talks with President Obama and United States Government officials will be measures to strengthen and intensify bilateral and international cooperation against terrorism in Nigeria and West-Africa.

Buhari's decision is excellent and commendable but it will as usual give the diabolic American president reason to refuse any assistance to Nigeria especially on the heels of boko haram menace.
