Yes mine were laminated, not an issue at all just take it there and leave the rest for them to do.

I will need advice on the viability of getting project management or engineering job and the best emirate country one can consider traveling to. I read Electrical Engineering and have a considerable experience in engineering project management and electrical engineering design/installations. Have gotten PMP certification and preparing for PRINCE 2. Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait are on my mind anyway. Advice on any of these countries where there are better opportunities for electrical engineers/project managers and construction works with good pay will be highly appreciated. NNONYG, Nattybanta, Justi4Jesu, Justwise and all other experienced guys in this thread pls help me.

Yes it is necessary, sometimes when looking for a job the recruiters or companies ask for either, so to be on the safr side kindly do the two.

You have very high expectations, I have certifications too and electrical electronics engineering certificate, but this country doesn't work like that, here in UAE, you can't say this the kind of Job I want or will get... Only God decides, come with all your certificates to UAE... But the chances of getting an Engineering job is 1/100

A friend of mine said there's a job offer (Construction lab n airport security) in Qatar with accommodation n medical and that he has an agent who ll help me process the visa but I ll pay half of it and when it comes out I ll pay the rest . From what I have read here life in Qatar is kinda okay. My question is, how can I determine the genuiness of it, and is it possible when I get there to get a better job with HND in Mech Eng?

Get an internationally recognized Accounting certification e.g ACCA, and u would even compete with the British and Europeans for same role.

I have an uncle who is resident in Dubai and helping out with an employment visa with Dubai Taxi since June. He called my mum just last week that he just got an approval for my visa. I actually don't wantu pester him too much about the status of things, but then, I'm getting really tired about it (in fact, ah don starch and iron my clothes arrange them inside box sef.....lol)

Can someone please explain
- what he meant by "visa approval"?
- how long do I have to wait?
