The horrific accident happened this afternoon in front of interland containers near ABC terminal in Amuwo Odofin. An Okada rider carrying a passenger collided with a truck. Above is the passenger that survived. The Okada man wasn't so lucky. His head was split open.

Wtf

More reasons I avoid transporting on bikes. Many of those bikers are reckless, careless and they tend to have an uncommon disregard for life.
RIP.

Poor unemployed young man died trying to make a living no robbing people but we blame the dead when the people that placed the ban give him no other option thinner being a political thug or agbero

Its a restriction and not an outright ban...simple instruction,no commercial motorcyclists on certain highways.its a no brainer.

money can be made on other routes...must it always be on d express?

dont u also think dat his death might have been avoidable if he had an helmet on?.thats part of d reasons the restrictions was enforced in d first instance...cos riders refused to wear crash helmets

oh,d govt ought to av provided helmets too?

The problem might not be the OKADA but the vehicle that ran him over.

The "INSTRUCTIONL is no motorcycle less than 150CC should ply trunk A roads. Also every motorcyclist should wear a helmet.

As long as truck drivers remain reckless, motorcyclists and other road users will still be killed.

Look at the trailer beside his body it has been there for a while and the dust covered surface is still part of the road.If you ban or inhibit access to thing you have to create viable alternatives if all the access roads are bad people are push to use the highway.

If my body or anyone of us is lying right there people will still say it the victims fault as if he ever though it will end that way same for all the car accidents posted here we never see a pattern that can be prevented. Reason white folks are steps ahead
