Section 1 (Vowels + random rules)

Fatha َ – should be read with a sound (ex- بَ ba)

Kasra ِ - should be read with ‘i/e sound (ex بِbe)

Dammah ُ - should be read with u sound (ex بٌ )

Sokoon ْ – should be a silent sound (ie without ًَُِ – بْ )b) for ex – na(b)

وي ا - These are there for elongation (با بي بو ) will be read as baa, bee, buu

ً ٍٍٍٍٍٍ ٌ - Tanween- Word ending with these should be pronounced with an n sound at the end (بً – ban بٍ – bin بٌ – bun)

Note: Words ending with Tanween are indefinite (ie not specific/exact). For example, a door (بَابٌ- baabun) as opposed to the door (البَابُ- al baab/u) which is definite. Tanween and Al cannot exist in the same word together. All names are definite because you are talking about a specific person - مُحَمَدٌ - Muhammed

You can try making the words in the pic definite.
Malabis is without tanween

Section 2 Introduction + Where do you live
Quick Grammar Rule- adding ي to a noun makes it possessive. For example- - بَيْتِي My house

So basically, I will be starting from big – small.

I will be introducing Khalid. So, my name is Khalid. I am from (min) Nigeria. But now, I live in Egypt, in the city of Cairo. I am 20 years old.

.إِسْمِي خَالِد. أَنَا مِنْ نِيْجِيرِيَا وَلَكِنْ أَلْأن أَعِيشُ فِي مَصْرفِي مَدِينَة القاهرة. أَنَا عَمْرِي عَشْرُون

I live in the pearl area, in the street of ar-rattan, in the pearl compound, building no. 8, floor number 9, and apartment number 10.

.أَنَا أسْكُنُ فِي مِنْطَقَة لُؤلُؤة، فِي شَارِع الرَتَان, فِي مُجَمْع لؤلؤة - بِنَايَة رَقَم ثَمَانِيَة ،الطَّابِق رَقَم تِسْعَة, شَقَّة رَقَم عَشَرَة.

So introduce yourself and tell us where you live or introduce a fictional character and tell us where the character lives.

Modified

Added it
-It is highly subjected to mistakes.

I don't think I have ever typed Arabic as much as I have in the past two days.
It's great revision though and it's fun too.

Actually it starts with guessing....to reduce guessing on what the harakah should be, you need to learn sarf(morphology) and nahw(grammar)....then, immerse yourself into reading books, books and books written in Arabic.... So you get used to it and learn many words..with time you'll just read without guessing except you get to a new word...

:تُظْهَرُ فَضَائلُ العِلمِ النَّحْوِ بِمَا يَلِي

From the virtues of science of nahw will be shown with the following:

There is a story about a Bedouin man who was leading salaah and he was reading suratut tawbah, when he got to;

(أَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِىءٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُ)

.....that Allaah is free from obligations to the Mushrikin and so is His Messenger.

The man read the last word as rasoolihi instead of rasooluhu, which changed the meaning from "Allaah and his Messenger being free from the mushrikeen" to "Allaah being free from the mushrikeen and his Messenger" this was a grave mistake and the Bedouin instantly knew he had made a mistake thus he stopped his salaah...

This got to the ameer Ali ibn Abi taalib, then Ali ordered a man called Ad-duwali to write down the foundations of Arabic grammar because he was good in it and that was how nahw came about.....

Other such examples in the Quran that can cause problem is the following aayah:

(وَإِذِ ابْتَلَى إِبْرَهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِماتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ)

..And (remember) when the Lord of Ibrahim tried him with (certain) Words, which he fulfilled..

If the harakah on the last letter in "Ibrahim" (meem) is interchanged with the "baa" in "rabbuhu" it becomes "Allaah being tried by Ibrahim" instead of "Ibrahim bring tried by Allaah"...

One more example:

(إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ)

It is only those who have knowledge among His servants that fear Allaah...

If the fatha on the last letter in " Allaah " is interchanged with the harakah on the last letter in "ulamaa'u" is interchanged.... It will mean "Allaah fearing this knowledgeable words" instead of vice versa..

Some of the deviants from those who claim Allaah cannot talk tried to distort this aayah in suratun nisaa

وَكلَّمَ اللهُ موسَى تكليماً

To

وَكلَّمَ اللهَ موسَى تكليماً

Changing Allaahu to Allaaha which implies, Allaah did not speak to musa, rather musa spoke to him...

Nahw is important and you can't understand the Qur'an properly without knowing nahw...
Re: NL Arabic Learning Thread :) by Nobody: 7:47am On Apr 21, 2017
So NAHW focuses on words and the harakah on the last letter of each word in a sentence, the harakah on the last letter is very important in order to clarify the faa'il (doer of the action) and maf'ulu bihi(the object on which the action was done)...
