7 Highly Anticipated Nigerian Albums To Expect Before 2015 Ends by iTunesNG: 4:36pm On Jul 26, 2015

We are half way done with 2015, and we’ve already listened to a good amount of dope albums that have been dropped this year. The likes of Reminisce, Skales, IllBliss, Olamide & Phyno, Bracket, and Chocolate City have all dropped albums this year, but I can still strongly tell you that it is not yet over until it is over.
The Nigeria music industry still has a lot to offer in the remaining half. Here we’re giving you 7 more highly anticipated albums that you can expect to see released before the end of 2015.

1. Davido - 'The Baddest'

This album is pretty much done, whats left is the release. When this album is out, it would certainly top ranks. This is one of the most anticipated albums of 2015 with the promise of an all star feature cast including but not limited to Akon, Wale, Trey Songz, Don Jazzy, Runtown, and more. After ruling 2014 with Aye, Davido’s latest single, Fans Mi feat Meek Mill, is buzzing both locally in Nigeria, and internationally. No need to tell you that everyone is waiting for this.

2. Eva Alordiah – 'The 1960 Album'

Eva should have dropped this album by January 2015, and we’re now in July 2015, and still the album is'nt yet out. A lot of fans have been waiting years for it so we’re hoping it doesn’t extend into 2016.
All indications though point to it still being released this year. 1960 the album has confirmed collaborations with Reminisce, Sarkodie, Olamide, Femi Kuti, Yemi Alade and Sir Dauda.
For those still craving for some Eva goodness, you can hit up her self titled EP to wet the appetite a bit, and for sure check out War Coming and her dope What These B*tches Want freestyle.

3. Wande Coal – 'Untitled'

Its Wande Coal oooo!! If I am not wrong, 2009 was the last time Wande Coal dropped an album, and that’s about 6 years ago, but not to worry though.
We’ve gotten confirmation that Wande Coal will be dropping his album before the year runs out. After his split from Mavin Records and Don Jazzy, Wande Coal has somewhat reinvented himself, and we definitely can’t wait to what his album will bring.
If his last singles, Baby Hello and Ashimapeyin are anything to go by, then we should be getting some good stuff.

4. WizKid – Untitled

Starboy WizKid arguably has the biggest international collabo of the year with Ojuelegba Remix ft. Drake and Skepta, and that’s not even a song slated to be featured on his album.
His latest single, Expensive Sh*t is still trending till date. Even though WizKid released his sophomore album last year, WizKid is promising to drop another album this year, and this one will have all the big collabos from what we hear.
Expect to see Drake, Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, Akon , and The Game all featured on this project.

5. Phyno – Untitled

Phyno has just one album, No Guts No Glory which was released early last year. He also has joined YBNL General, Olamide Badoo to drop a collaborative album which is the first of its kind in the music industry.
He also released 2 solid singles this year, 'Nnunu' and 'Asai', and if you need any reminder of how hot his album will be, you can check those 2 joints.

6. Patoranking – Untitled

I think we can all agree that the only thing left for Patoranking to do to cement his place as an A list star is to drop an album. Though not confirmed, word in the industry is that this will drop before 2016 hits.
It was actually supposed to have been released in April, 2015, so we’re guessing most of the recording is done.
After winning last year’s Next Rated award with singles Alubarika and Girlie O, he’s also released Daniella Whine, and My Woman My Everything. That’s already 25% of an album already.

7. Banky W – Untitled

Banky W has announced that he’s putting in work for what will be his final album. If that is true then it’ll be a very impressive discography for Banky W, if we know anything about Mr Capable, you’ll know that this one will be too good to miss out on.
He hasn’t released much by way of singles this year, but you know how these things are; One minute things are quiet, the next singles drop, and an album follows immediately after.
What he has done though is put out videos from his album cuts, and also work on the EME acts.
